Safety Instructions

1. Read instructions: All safety and operating instructions should be read before installation.
2. Keep instructions: Safety and operating instruction should be retained for future reference.
3. Heed warnings: Warnings on the apparatus and in the operating instruction should be adhered to.
4. Follow instructions: All operating instructions should be followed.
5. Accessories: Only use accessories specified by the manufacturer.
6. Water and moisture: Do not use this apparatus near water.
7. Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings.
8. Heat: Do not install near heat sources such as radiators or other apparatus that produces heat.
9. Protect power cord: Power cord should be placed so that it is not likely to be walked on or pinched
by items placed upon it. Do not use the apparatus if power cord is damaged.
10. Cleaning: Unplug power cord before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use
a damp cloth for cleaning.
11. Nonuse periods: Unplug the power cord if apparatus is left unused for a long period of time.
12. Objects and liquids: Care should be taken so that object do not fall and liquids are not spilled into
the enclosure through the openings.
13. Damage requiring service: The apparatus should be serviced by qualified service personnel
when:
A. Objects has fallen inside enclosure.
B. The apparatus has exposed to rain or moisture.
C. The apparatus has been dropped or enclosure is damaged.
D. The apparatus do not operate normally.
14. Servicing: Refer all servicing to the qualified service personnel.
15. Warranty: Warranty service should be done by qualified service personnel authorized by Madboy
Audio International Oy. Warranty is invalidated if a warranty seal has been altered, removed or
defaced.

Receiver
1. POWER SWITCH: Press this switch to turn the power ON or OFF.
2. MIC A - LIGHT: Indicates connection to the wireless microphone A.
3. POWER - LIGHT: Indicates that power is turned on to the receiver.
4. MIC B - LIGHT: Indicates connection to the wireless microphone B.
5. MIC A - VOLUME: Adjust volume for the wireless microphone A.
6. MIC B - VOLUME: Adjust volume for the wireless microphone B.

1. ANTENNA B: Install antenna for the wireless microphone B.
2. DC INPUT: Connect +12 V power adapter here.
3. MIC B: Unbalanced 1/4" TS output jack for the wireless microphone B.
4. MIC A: Unbalanced 1/4" TS output jack for the wireless microphone A.
5. MIX A+B: Unbalanced 1/4" TS output jack for mixed output (MIC A + MIC B).
6. ANTENNA A: Install antenna for the wireless microphone A.
Note! Receiver’s frequency can be checked from the sticker on the bottom of the receiver.

Functions
1. GRILL: Removable grill protects a cartridge from
damage and an inner foam filter reduces wind, breath
and pop noises.
2. CARTRIDGE: Removable cartridge.
3. LOW BATTERY INDICATOR: Light blink once when the
microphone is turned on. If light turns on during
operation, battery level is low. If battery is low, wireless
microphone signal degrades which may cause dropouts
or complete signal loss. Please replace with new
batteries immediately.
4. POWER SWITCH: Turn the microphone on or off.
5. BATTERY COVER: Battery compartment for two 1.5 V
AA batteries. Remove batteries if the microphone is not
used for long time. Microphone frequency marked on the
sticker on the battery compartment.
Please handle the wireless microphone with care.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by accidental
misuse of the product.
Operation
1. Open battery cover by turning the cover
counterclockwise. Install two ’AA’ batteries and close the
cover. Pay attention to the correct polarity.
2. Turn on the microphone by sliding power switch to ”ON”
position. Power indicator will blink once and then turns
off. This indicates normal operation.
3. Receiver’s RF indicator should turn on now to indicate
connection between the wireless microphone and
receiver.
4. If power indicator light turns on during operation, battery
level is low. Please replace with new batteries
immediately.
5. Turn off the microphone by sliding power switch to ”OFF”
position.

Operations Before Connecting the Receiver:
1. Install antennas to the back panel of the receiver.
2. Connect the power adapter to the DC input of the receiver.

Connecting the Receiver:
You can connect the receiver to the microphone input of your mixer or mixing amplifier
using one or two unbalanced TS plug cable. In case using one cable (CONNECTION 2)
you can connect both microphones from MIX A+B on the receiver. Alternatively you can
connect both microphones separately using two plug cables* (CONNECTION 1).

Connection example

1. Connect the receiver to the microphone input of your mixer or mixing amplifier.
2. Turn on the receiver and your mixer or mixing amplifier.
3. Install batteries to the wireless microphone and turn on the microphone. Signal light on
the receiver should turn on to indicate connection to the receiver. Note! If light on the
microphone turns on during operation, change the batteries to ensure interference-free
operation. More detailed guide of using the wireless microphone on the page 6.
4. Set volume from the receiver to 1/2 position and adjust microphone volume from your
mixer or mixing amplifier until the microphone sounds good.
Note! Setting microphone volume too high on the receiver may cause distortion on the
microphone input of your mixer or mixing amplifier. In case the sound is distorted, decrease
microphone volume from the receiver. You can compensate decreased microphone volume
by increasing volume from your amplifier or mixing amplifier.

Note! You can also connect both microphones separately according to the picture on the
page 7.

AIRBOX 20P
LOW BATT

AIRBOX 20P body pack transmitter and headset or lavalier microphones sold separately.
1. Connect the receiver to the microphone input of your mixing amplifier or mixer.
2. Turn on the receiver and your mixer or mixing amplifier.
3. Connect headset/lavalier microphone to the AIRBOX 20P transmitter.
4. Turn on the AIRBOX 20P transmitter and adjust frequency to match A or B channel
frequency on the receiver. Receiver’s frequency is marked on the sticker found on the
bottom of the receiver. Signal light on the receiver should now turn on to indicate
connection to the receiver. Check AIRBOX 20P manual for detailed guide.
5. Set the microphone volume to 1/2 position from the receiver and adjust microphone
volume on the mixer or mixing amplifier until the microphone sounds good.

Note! You can use two AIRBOX 20P transmitters same time with U-TUBE 20 receiver. Set
both transmitters to use different frequency found on the bottom of U-TUBE 20 receiver.

In case the sound is distorted, decrease microphone volume from the receiver. You can
