1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Risk of Electric Shock

Warning: to avoid the risk of electric
shock, do not remove the cover.
The interior does not contain any parts
that can be repaired by the user.
Ask for assistance from the Customer
Support Service.
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read these ins-
tructions manual carefully and keep it in a
safe place as you may need to consult it in
the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to
ensure a safe and correct operation, do not
use if:
- It has fallen to the ground;
- You notice any evidence of damage;
- Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your ap-
pliance through incorrect use it is advisable
to read these instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance should not be used for other
purposes than the ones intended and sole-
ly for household use. Any damage resulting
from using the appliance outside this scope,

any incorrect use, as well as any manual
modications to the product will not be co-
vered and automatically voids the warranty.
Assistance
In case of malfunction, take your appliance
to the Customer Support Service for assis-
tance.
This appliance can be used by
children from the age of 8 and by
people with reduced physical, sen-
sorial or mental capabilities and/or
lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given instruc-
tions on using the appliance safely
and if they understand the hazar-
ds involved. Children may not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried
out by children without supervi-
sion.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible
with the appliance’s. If this is not the case,
please consult the Customer Support Ser-
vice.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to discon-
nect the appliance. Also, keep the cord
away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged
cable or socket.
Take it to the Customer Support Service for
replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places.
Do not allow the main body of the applian-
ce to become wet under any circumstances
as this may be dangerous. To avoid re ha-
zard or electric shock do not expose your
appliance to humidity or water. Furthermo-
re, do not place your appliance under water
(e.g. for cleaning).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the
appliance and remove the plug from the
main power supply. See chapter 2.3. for
more cleaning instructions.
1.5. General Precautions
• Please follow the instructions in the user
manual which will help you to properly ins-
tall and operate this product and enjoy its
advanced features. Please keep the ins-
tructions for future reference.

• Read all instructions before using the pro-
duct.
• Maintenance and service operations are
only to be carried out by authorized pro-
fessionals.
• Any damage caused by manual modica-
tions to the product is not covered by the
warranty.
• If this product is used for other purposes
than the ones originally intended, or if it is
not correctly connected, the product may
become damaged and the warranty will be
voided.
• Always unplug the appliance from the so-
cket if it is left unattended and before as-
sembling, disassembling or cleaning it.
• Switch off the appliance and unplug it from
the socket before changing accessories or
approaching moveable parts while in use.
• This appliance is intended for household
and similar use such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and
other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other re-
sidential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
• Be careful when using the blender with hot
liquid as it can be ejected out of the beaker.

• Do not operate the blender with your han-
ds wet. Make sure you dry your hands rst
before plugging the blender.
• Make sure the rod is in place and the po-
wer cord is not damaged every time you
use the appliance.
• Never allow the blades to face towards so-
meone while operating the appliance.
• Never blend or mix hot oil or fat. Please
follow the processing guide.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter. Also, be careful when le-
aving the cord along the oor as someone
might trip over it.
• Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces
or hang down where a child could grab it.
• Unplug the appliance from the socket
when it is not being used, before moving it
from one place to another or before adding
food.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• The blades are sharp. Please handle with
care.
• Never touch the blades while the machine
is plugged in.
• Never add ingredients to the beaker while
the hand blender is operating.
• Do not continuously operate the blender
for a long time as the motor may overheat.

If the surface of the main body of the hand
blender is very hot, it may need some time
to cool down. After cooling to room tem-
perature, the appliance can be operated
again.
• The continuous operating time without any
load should be less than 15 seconds. Fur-
thermore, do not use the blender to mix
hard ingredients.
• Please do not exceed quantities and the
maximum time stated in the operation gui-
delines or processing guide.
• Keep ngers, hair, clothing and utensils
away from moveable parts.
• Keep hands and utensils away from the
beaker while blending to reduce the risk of
severe injury to people or damage to the
blender.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

2.2. Product usage
Caution: The blades are sharp. Handle with care.
Before using the blender for the first time
• Remove all packaging.
Using the hand blender
• Clean the rod.
• Fit the main body inside the rod, turn and lock until you hear a slight
click. The marks should now be aligned with each other. If this is the
case, the rod is properly locked.
• Place ingredients in the beaker.
• Plug the blender to socket and hold the main body steady. Then
switch the appliance on by pressing the switch button.
• Immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients.
• Blend the ingredients by slowly moving the appliance up and down
and in circles.
• After you have completed blending, release the switch button, then
unplug the appliance from the socket.
Warning: The continuous operating time must be less than 60
seconds. Never blend hot oil, fat or meat.
• If your blender gets blocked, rst stop blending and unplug the unit
before clearing.
• After use, unplug the appliance and disassemble it for storage.
• Always switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
Please refer to instructions in “Care and cleaning”.
Purpose
• Blending uids e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups,
mixed drinks and shakes.
• Mixing soft ingredients, e.g. pancake batter or mayonnaise.
• Pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. to make baby food.
