SAFETY WARNINGS
-These instructions are highly important,
please read this instruction manual before
using the device and save it for future
reference.
-JOCCA is only responsible for proper use of
this product as describe in this manual.
-Before using the device for the first time,
unpack and verify that it is in perfect condition,
if not, do not use the device and go to JOCCA
as the warranty covers all manufacturing
defects.
-This appliance can be used by children
of 8 and above, and people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience or knowledge if they are

supervised or instructed in an appropriate
and safe way about the use of the appliance
and understand the hazards involved. Any
cleaning and maintenance must be carried
out by the user or if they are carried out by a
child of 8 or above they must be supervised.
-Keep the appliance and its cable out of the
reach of children under 8 years old.
-Children should be supervised to ensure
they do not play with the device.
-Do not immerse the appliance or any part of
it in water or any other liquid.
- Keep the surface of the scale dry and do not
get it wet.
-Use the appliance on a flat and horizontal
surface. Do not place on rugs, carpets, etc.
-Do not strike, shake or drop the scale. The
scale is a precise instrument.
Please, treat it with care to extend its life.
-Do not place too much weight on the
scale. Otherwise the weight sensor may be
damaged.
-The scale is only for domestic use, DO NOT
use it for industrial or commercial purpose.
WARNING ABOUT THE BATTERIES
-Remove the battery from its compartment, if

you are not going to use the device for a long
period of time.
-Remember that batteries must be deposited in
the specialized containers for battery collection.
-Always remove battery before throwing your
device to waste.
- Never handle leaking batteries with bare
hands.
-Replace the battery when it is worn out.
-Useonlybatteriesofthespecifiedcharacteristics.
-Make sure that the battery is placed with the
correct polarity.
-Never place the battery compartment near fire
or heat source.
-Do not throw the batteries into the fire or place
the control unit under the sun light. Do not mix
used and new batteries.
“TARE” FUNCTION
-With this device you can measure the weight of different
ingredients consecutively, without mixing them.
-First, place an ingredient on the weight platform.
-Press and hold the ON/OFF/ZERO. A “0” will display before
adding the next ingredient.
-Repeat this operation, as many times as ingredients you want
to add.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-Before using the appliance, place the battery in its location
making sure that the voltage is correct.
-Open the battery cover located on the back side of the scale, and
insert the battery according to the marked polarity.

-To turn on the scale, press the ON / OFF / ZERO button. It is
ready to use when the LCD shows 0.
-To turn it off, press the ON / OFF button for a few seconds and
the scale will turn off.
-If you want to put a container on top of the base, to weigh
some type of liquid, or to add ingredients in the same
measurement, press the ON / OFF / ZERO selector, the
balance will automatically reset to 0 and thus be able to add
different ingredients.
-This scale can weigh in g, lb oz, ml, fl oz. By default, it gives
the weight in the last selected weight unit.
-If you want to change the unit of weight, press the UNIT
button when turning on the scale.
Caution
-When “LO” appears on the screen it indicates Low Battery,
please change the batteries.
-When “O-Ld” appears on the screen it indicates Overload.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
-Product for food use.
-Before each use even before the first one, wash the product
with soap and water.
-NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID.
-Do not use abrasive detergents or products that may damage
the appliance.
-Do not place any objects on the scale when not in use.
-Keep the scale in a dry and safe place.
-To extend the life of the scale, keep it away from extreme
moisture or heat.
-Use a damp cloth or sponge to clean the appliance.
-Do not place vertically, even when not in use.

-Este producto solo está indicado para un
uso doméstico. No utilizar el aparato en
la intemperie. No deje el aparato bajo la
exposición de agentes climáticos como la
lluvia, nieve, sol, etc… que puedan deteriorar
su funcionamiento.
-Este aparato pueden utilizarlo niños con
edad de 8 años y superior y personas
con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o
mentales reducidas o falta de experiencia y
conocimiento, si se les ha dado la supervisión
o instrucción apropiadas respecto al uso del
aparato de una manera segura y comprenden
los peligros que implica. Los niños no
deben jugar con el aparato. La limpieza y el
mantenimiento a realizar por el usuario no
deben realizarlos los niños a menos que sean
mayores de 8 años y estén bajo supervisión.

-Utilice el aparato en una superficie plana,
lisa y horizontal. Evite colocarla encima de
alfombras, moquetas, etc.
-Evite los golpes o cualquier caída de la
balanza. En caso contrario la balanza
podría resultar dañada. La balanza es un
aparato de precisión. Trátela con cuidado
para maximizar su vida útil.
-No sitúe pesos excesivos sobre la balanza.
En caso contrario el sensor de peso podría
resultar dañado.
-Este aparato está diseñado para uso
doméstico, no para fines industriales o
comerciales.
ADVERTENCIAS DE PILAS
-Quite la pila del emplazamiento, si no va a
utilizar el aparato durante un largo periodo
de tiempo.
-Recuerde que las pilas o baterías deben
depositarse en contenedores especializados
para recogida de pilas.
-Si desea deshacerse del producto no olvide
retirar las pilas o baterías del aparato.
-Si la pila o batería tiene algún tipo de fuga
no la manipule nunca directamente con las
manos.
