Read and understand this instruction manual
completely before using this instrument. Failure to
observe the warnings and cautions in this instruction
manual may result in injury, death or damage to the
instrument and other equipment or property.
If this instrument is used in a manner not specied
in these instructions, the protection provided by the
instrument may be impaired.

42 Vac peak, or 60 Vdc. These voltages pose a
shock hazard
To avoid false readings that can lead to electric
shock and injury, replace battery as soon as low
battery indicator appears
Do not use the instrument in hazardous areas or
around explosive gases or vapours
Wear suitable personal protective equipment when
working around or near hazardous live conductors
which could be accessible
Use extreme caution when working around bare
conductors or bus bars. Contact with the conductor
could result in electric shock.

The instrument displays the battery capacity when
powering up. Please replace the battery when 0%
is shown.

In AUTOHOLD mode, if the measured value remains
within ±10 counts over 10 measuring cycles the
instrument will beep 4 times, the measured value
will be held on the display and "AUTOHOLD" will
be displayed.
Subsequently if the measured value changes by ±10
counts, the instrument will beep, "AUTOHOLD" will
disappear and the instrument will revert to displaying
the new readings until the next AUTOHOLD conditions
are met.
Note: When AUTOHOLD activates, the displayed
reading will be held for 3 seconds if the clamp jaws are
removed from the cable. During this time the HOLD
key can be pressed to hold the reading indenitely.

and the LCD display will ash when the measured
current is greater than 50 counts above that held
on the LCD display.

• The instrument can compare readings to one of 3
xed limit values (0.25mA, 0.5mA and 3.5mA)
• The internal buzzer will sound and the LCD
display will ash when the measured value
exceeds the set limit.
