The Smart Socket can be used as an alternative signalling device for Innohome Stove Guard or
gas/carbon monoxide/smoke alarms (light and audible signal). It can also turn any light or sig-
nalling light to a signalling device, or be used to activate any alternative signalling device that
connects via a normal power socket.
The Smart Socket can also be used to turn an appliance o, for instance a TV, to alert the user
of a Stove Guard alarm.
The Stove Guard can be located in another room and within any distance, the gas/carbon
monoxide/smoke alarms need to be located in the same room and within 5 metres distance.
The Smart Socket is compatible with all gas, carbon monoxide and smoke alarms.
To reset the alarm press the Smart Socket push-button (1, see image on the previ-
ous page) once.
The alarm can also be reset by pushing the Intelligent Heat Sensor push-button/cover once
(when using with the Innohome Stove Guard).
4.1 Setup for use as a signalling device
1. Connect the Smart Socket to a power socket and wait for 5 seconds.
2. Press the Smart Socket push-button (1, see image on the previous page) and hold it down
until rst a red light alights, then a green light. Release the push-button when the green light
is lit.
4.2 Turning an appliance o for alerting purposes (eg. a TV)
Use with the Stove Guard
1. Connect the Smart Socket to a power socket and wait for around 30 seconds, until you hear
a signal.
2. Press the Smart Socket push-button (1, see image on the previous page) until a green light
starts to blink.
3. Make a test alarm with the Stove Guard by pressing the Intelligent Heat Sensor push-but-
ton/cover until you hear a signal.
4. The Smart Socket will emit a signal when the pairing of devices is successful.
5. Connect the desired appliance to the Smart Socket.
