How to use
a. Properly connect the hard drive to the SATA interface of
UA1004
b. Connect UA1004 with computer via USB cable.
c. Corresponding disk will appear on computer.

1. Make sure data access and transfer are stopped when remove
the hard drive enclosure from computer, otherwise data lo ss
might happen.
2. Hard drive will automatically start sleep mode if idle state lasts
30 minutes, when LED ashes each three seconds. Data access
to the drive will restore operational mode.

a. Why cannot the adapter work with some of 2.5”hard drives, and
all 3.5”ones?
Due to technology issue, the working power of some old type
2.5”hard drive is quite high, while 3.5”hard drives require even
stronger electric current. USB power cannot support them.
UA1004 comes with 12V/2A DC power jack. Users can purchase
relevant power adapter when external power source is needed.
b. Hard drive does not show up in “File Manager”.
Disconnect the enclosure from your computer. Try another
USB port on the computer. If the problem still exists, the hard
drive might need to reformat. You can use the partition and
formatting program that comes with system to do it（Right
click “Computer”>Management>Disk Management）

Betrieb
a. Verbinden Sie die HDD/ SSD ordentlich mit der SATA-
Schnittstelle des UA1004.
b. Verbinden Sie den UA1005 mit dem Rechner über das USB-
Kabel.
c. Die Datenträger tauchen auf dem Rechner auf.

Bitte beachten:
1. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass jeglicher Datentransfer und
Datenzugriff vor dem Entfernen von Datenträgern gestoppt
wurde, um Datenverlust zu vermeiden.
2. Bei Nichtzugriff geht das angeschlossene Laufwerk nach 30
Minuten automatisch in den Ruhemodus, die LED blinkt dann
alle drei Sekunden. Bei erneutem Zugriff wird das Laufwerk
wieder in den Betriebsmodus versetzt.

a. Weshalb kann dieser Adapter nicht mit allen 2,5“ und mit
keinem 3,5“ Laufwerk arbeiten?
Da einige 2,5“-Laufwerke einen hohen Stromabgriff haben,
insbesondere ältere Modelle, und 3,5“ sogar noch höheren
Stromfluss benötigen, kann nicht genügend Strom über den
verwendeten USB-Stromanschluss bereitgestellt werden. Da
an dem Adapter UA1004 eine Gleichstromeingangsbuchse
vorhanden ist, kann bei Bedarf ein Netzteil angebunden
werden.
b. Das Laufwerk taucht unter “Computer” oder “Dateimanager”
nicht auf.
Trennen Sie das Gehäuse vom Rechner und probieren Sie
einen anderen USB-Anschluss aus. Sollte der Datenträger nicht
auftauchen, ist eventuell eine Neuformatierung notwendig.

verwenden (Rechtsklick “Computer” -> Verwalten ->

使用方法
a. ハードドライブを UA1004 の SATA インターフェースに正しく
接続します。

ドドライブは本製品で使用できないのはなぜですか？
ある古いの 2.5 インチハードドライブと 3.5 インチのハードド
ライブは要求電力が高いのため、USB からの供給電力が電力不
足で正常動作しない場合があります。UA1004 には 12V / 2A の
DC 電源ジャックが付属しています。 外部電源が必要な場合、
電源アダプタを接続することをお勧めします。
