Getting started
Connect the USB cable to the power supply unit and your hub. Then plug
the power supply unit into the wall socket.
If you have an Apple device
Go to the App Store and download the IKEA Home smart app. The
app will take you through the process of installing your hub and other
devices.
If you have an Android device
Go to the Google Play store and download the IKEA Home smart app. The
app will take you through the process of installing your hub and other
devices.

Understanding your hub’s status lights
Ring light – loading
Shown when the hub is connected to power and is starting
up. Wait for the light to ll the ring before proceeding with
connecting the hub to the app.

Ring light softly pulsing white
This is shown once your hub has nished starting up. You can
now follow the instructions in the app to connect your hub.
Centre light constant white
Shown when the hub is connected to the internet and
everything is OK.
Centre light double-blinking white
Shown when the hub is disconnected from the internet. You
can continue to control your devices through the app and your
home WiFi network.
Ring light – spinning white
When your hub is updating or busy processing a large
amount of information.
Rebooting your hub
Disconnect and reconnect the power to your hub to reboot it.
The ring light lls to symbolise loading while starting up. This
will not delete information on your hub.
Factory resetting
Push a pin into the pinhole on the underside of the hub until
the status lights turn o. The centre light will then blink red 4
times when the hub is ready. Note – this deletes all previous
hub information.
Adding IKEA Home smart to your hub
Follow the instructions in the app to add "Works with IKEA Home smart"
devices to the hub.
Care instructions
Unplug the power supply unit from the power source before cleaning
and when the hub is not in use.
To clean the hub and the power supply unit, wipe with a soft cloth
moistened with a small amount of mild cleaning agent. Use another soft,
dry cloth to wipe dry.
Never submerge the power supply unit or hub in water.
Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents as this can damage the
products.

IMPORTANT!
• The wall socket must be located near the equipment and must be easily
accessible.
• Storage temperature: -20 °C to 25 °C.
• Operating temperature: 0 °C to 40 °C.
• Do not leave the hub in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it
may overheat.
• Do not subject the hub or power supply unit to wet, damp or
excessively dusty environments, as this may cause damage.
• The range between the hub and the receiver is measured in open air.
• Dierent building materials and placement of the units can aect the
wireless connectivity range.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
product.
• This equipment is only suitable for mounting at heights up to 2 m.
• Recommended precautionary measures and technical data, see the
back of the power supply unit.
Product servicing
Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. If you open or remove
parts, you may expose yourself to dangerous voltage points or other
risks.

RF exposure information

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item should
be disposed of separately from household waste. The item should
be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental

Instalación
Conecta el cable USB a la unidad de alimentación y al nodo. A

Luz de contorno: carga
El nodo pasarela está conectado y en proceso de encendido.
Espera a que todo el contorno esté iluminado antes de
conectar el nodo a la app.
Luz de contorno blanca que parpadea lentamente
El nodo está totalmente encendido. Ya puedes seguir las
instrucciones de la app para conectar el nodo.

El nodo está conectado a internet y funciona correctamente.
Luz central blanca con doble parpadeo
El nodo no está conectado a internet. Puedes seguir
controlando los dispositivos a través de la app y la red wi.

El nodo se está actualizando o está procesando una gran
cantidad de información.
Reiniciar la plataforma
Conecta y desconecta la plataforma de la fuente de
alimentación para reiniciarla. La luz del contorno se
enciende progresivamente para indicar que la plataforma
se está cargando durante el encendido. Esto no elimina la
información de la plataforma.
Restablecer las preferencias de fábrica
Introduce un aller por el oricio que hay en la parte inferior
de la plataforma y aprieta hasta que se apaguen las luces de
estado. La luz central parpadea en rojo cuatro veces cuando
la plataforma está lista. Importante: esto elimina toda la
información previa de la plataforma.
Añadir dispositivos al nodo IKEA Home smart
Sigue las instrucciones de la app para añadir al nodo dispositivos
compatibles con IKEA Home smart.
Instrucciones de mantenimiento
Desconecta la unidad de alimentación de la fuente de alimentación antes
de limpiar la plataforma y cuando esta no se está utilizando.
Para limpiar la plataforma y la unidad de alimentación, usa un paño
suave humedecido con una pequeña cantidad de jabón neutro. Usa otro
paño suave y seco para secarla.
No sumerjas nunca la fuente de alimentación ni la plataforma en agua.
No utilices nunca detergentes abrasivos ni disolventes químicos, ya que
pueden dañar los productos.

• La toma de pared debe estar situada cerca del aparato, en un lugar de
fácil acceso.
• Temperatura de conservación: de -20 °C a 25 °C.
• Temperatura de funcionamiento: de 0 °C a 40 °C.
• No expongas la plataforma a la luz directa del sol ni la coloques cerca
de una fuente de calor, ya que podría sobrecalentarse.
• No expongas la plataforma ni la unidad de alimentación a ambientes
húmedos, mojados o excesivamente polvorientos, ya que esto podría
dañarlas.
• El alcance entre la plataforma y el receptor se mide en campo abierto.
• Los diferentes materiales de construcción y la ubicación de las
unidades pueden inuir en el alcance de la conectividad inalámbrica.
• Los niños deben estar bajo la supervisión de un adulto para evitar que
jueguen con el producto.
• Este aparato solo puede montarse a alturas de hasta 2 metros.
• Para saber las medidas de precaución y los datos técnicos, consulta la
parte posterior de la unidad de alimentación.
Reparación del producto
No intentes reparar por tu cuenta el producto, ya que al abrir y quitar
piezas puedes quedar expuesto a posibles descargas eléctricas u otros
peligros.
