OBJECT

Flip the gymnast onto the mat, landing hands or feet rst, and stick

the landing in the fewest tries to win. Stick it twice in a row and

you’ve mastered it!

HOW TO FLIP

1. Place the mat and the gure, feet rst,

on a hard surface.

2. There are 2 tabs on the gymnast’s back:

the top tab makes him go farther, while

the bottom one is for a closer range.

3. Place your nger on one of the tabs and press

down, sliding it o with a ick to spring the gymnast forward.

When you use the top tab, place the mat between 8 and 12

inches away. For the bottom tab, place the mat between 4 and 8

inches away.

4. To get the gymnast to ip

multiple times, place your

nger on the lower tab’s

edge, push down hard,

and ick quickly to spring

the gymnast into the air.

5. Practice dierent techniques—

you’ll get the hang of it!

GAME CHALLENGES

If you’re playing solo, test

yourself by trying to complete

these challenges in as few tries

as possible. For multiplayer

games, alternate turns and see

who can stick the landing rst!

Complete a challenge twice in

a row and you’ve mastered it!

1. Easy Peasy

Stick the landing using the top tab.

2. Flip-a-Roo

Use the lower tab to ip the gymnast multiple times before

sticking the landing.

3. Tower Flip

Grab a tall object (like a water bottle, for instance) and place it

between the mat and the gymnast. Using the top tab, stick the

landing by ipping the gymnast over the object.

4. High Dive

Grab an object with a at surface (like a box or a stack of books)

and place the mat on top. Using the top tab, spring the gymnast

from a lower surface to the top of the object and stick the landing.

TIP:

If you’re playing on a

slippery surface, use one

hand to steady the base

of the gymnast as you

spring him into action!

Don’t stop here—get creative and make up your own challenge!
