Asingle connection from The Bridge™to a The Bridge-Ready Harman Kardon receiver provides audio playback,

complete control and charging of most iPod®1 models. You can select tracks using your AVR’s remote and view

on-screen navigation menus. What could be easier?

Wouldn’t it be nice it you could use simple language to tell your remote what equipment it needs to control, have

it automatically program the correct codes and then adapt each activity to your personal preferences? Thanks to

Harman Kardon technology – programmable via the Internet – that’s exactly what the TC 30 can do, with a color

LCD screen as an added bonus!

Getting the best sound takes more than just power, it requires tailoring the system parameters to the unique

characteristics of the listening room. With the press of a few buttons, our patented EzSet/EQ,

™EzSet+

™and EzSet™

systems do that for you automatically, with accuracy previously possible only with expensive professional gear.

Harman Kardon technology unleashes music power so that it can be heard almost anywhere in the house. Thanks

to configurable amplifiers, A-BUS/READY ®single-wire connectivity and standard Zone II remotes, it’s easier than

ever to have the sound you want, where you want it.

Sometimes technology changes after you purchase a component. That’s why all Harman Kardon DVD players and

HS systems, the DPR and select AVR receivers can be easily updated when needed, keeping your system current

for years to come.

UPDATES

The best technologies

are the ones that add

to the power and

performance of a

system while making

it easier to use.

7x85W 7.2-Channel A/V Receiver

Digital audio meets digital video. Ready for the future, the AVR 740’s DCDi®by Faroudja video processing flawlessly

upscales all incoming video to 720p or 1080i high definition and outputs it through an HDMI™jack. On the audio side,

direct HDMI connection to compatible DVD-Audio players, USB playback from compatible digital audio sources and

XM-Ready®2capability for digital satellite radio greatly expand your digital options. Our advanced EzSet/EQ II system,

7.2-channel capability, TC 30 remote and more make this the most flexible AVR we’ve ever produced.

7x55W 7.1-Channel A/V Receiver

Tune up your room; no tools required. Thanks to EzSet/EQ, the AVR 340 not only establishes all system speaker

parameters, it measures how the speakers “sound” in your room and equalizes their output to compensate for any

room-based acoustic situation. Add a wide range of convenience features such as video cross conversion, component

output for simplified connectivity, A-BUS/READY multiroom capability, and compatibility with The Bridge, and you’ll be

enjoying movies and music quicker than ever.

7x50W 7.1-Channel A/V Receiver

For high quality “by the numbers” the AVR 240 is clearly best in class. Seven channels of high-current amplification,

Logic 7®processing, 192kHz/24-bit digital converters, two high-bandwidth component video inputs, a two-line front-

panel display and more inputs and outputs than you can count. Add the power of EzSet+ to automatically set system

speaker levels, and it all adds up to a magnificent total of high-quality audio and video performance.

6 x 40W 6.1-Channel A/V Receiver

Don’t let the AVR 140’s modest price fool you. Our most affordable A/V receiver is loaded with features. With

on-screen menus that include renameble inputs, component video switching, compatibility with The Bridge, and

our classic high-current, ultrawide-bandwidth amplifier topology, there is no better way to upgrade an old analog

system or add high-quality home theater performance when budget considerations are paramount.

If A/V receivers are

the heart of a home

entertainment system,

then Harman Kardon

AVRs are both heart

and mind. They take

today’s vast array of

audio/video formats

and sources, and make

it easy for you to select

asource, tailor it to

the requirements of

your listening room

and then play it back

without skipping a beat.

iPod Docking Station

iPod and Harman Kardon: two names synonymous with music playback, ease of control and elegant design. Now,

The Bridge literally links the two, allowing you to share the favorite tracks and playlists stored on your iPod with

anyone in listening range of a compatible Harman Kardon AVR – even in a connected second room. Dock your

iPod in The Bridge, then sit back and operate it with the AVR’s remote control while on-screen and front-panel

menus guide your track selections. The Bridge also charges the iPod while you use it.

Together for the first

time – your iPod

and your home

entertainment system –

thanks to The Bridge.

Activity-Based Remote

There’s a good reason that the “TC” in “TC 30” stands for “Take Control.” This unique product does more than just

operate single components; it dramatically changes the way you configure and use a remote control. Setup is done

directly with our Web site, where plain language “wizards” recognize the brand and model of all your equipment and

automatically send the right codes back to the TC 30. The TC 30 remote groups all the needed commands, including

“Watch TV,” “Listen to CD,” “Watch a DVD” and “Listen to The Bridge,” into unified activities. All you need to do is look at

the color LCD screen, select the icon that matches the activity, and the TC 30 does the rest. It’s easy, it’s fun and it

makes operating otherwise complex systems a breeze.

It’s time to Take Control™!

The TC 30 extends our

commitment to taking

integrated entertainment

to the next level by

making it easier than

ever to not only program

aremote control for

virtually any combination

of components – from

Harman Kardon and

other brands – but

to link them together

so that even the

most technophobic

among us can operate

the most complex

audio/video system.

acoustics. The AVR 635’s video technology is equally impressive, with video conversion so that all input sources may be

viewed via component video, and A/V Sync delay that reconnects the timing of sound and image. An RS-232 port makes

future software upgrades possible, and enables external control systems.

7x65W 7.1-Channel A/V Receiver
