The Panther pushp ate may be mounted with or without the mounting
bracket. To use the mounting bracket, screw a minimum of two (2)
screws into a so id surface through the ho es in the mounting p ate (#8
countersunk head screws must be used). The mounting p ate must be
mounted so that the text side is facing up.
To attach the housing to the mounting p ate, p ace the housing over the
key tabs on the mounting p ate, and then s ide the p ate downward unti
the ocking tab engages the housing. To remove the housing, press in
the ocking tab and reverse this procedure.
NOTE: To secure y ock the p ate, put an additiona screw through both
the housing and the mounting p ate.

Function:
To assemb e or disassemb e the pushp ate, use the enc osed hex key (or
simi ar diameter too ) to press in and re ease the spring c ips from the
facep ate bracket. The spring c ip wi need to be engaged/ disengaged
from top and bottom, one at a time. When the spring c ips are correct y
engaged, they wi make a click. It may be necessary to rotate the
facep ate s ight y to have them ock correct y.
To rep ace the battery, remove the facep ate and the four (4) screws
ho ding the battery cover to expose the transmitter assemb y. Rep ace
the battery with a fresh 12V, Type A23 battery and reassemb e the
pushp ate.
W RNING: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS ON THE
BATTERY COVER. THIS MAY CAUSE THE TRANSMITTER TO BE IN
CONSTANT ACTIVATION. THE HEAD OF THE SCREWS SHOULD
BE FLUSH WITH THE TOP OF THE PLASTIC COVER.

Tips
•Shut off all power going to the header before attempting any wiring procedures.
•Maintain a clean & safe environment when working in public areas.
•Constantly be aware of pedestrian traffic around the door area.
•Always stop pedestrian traffic through the doorway when performing tests that may result in unexpected reactions by the door.
•Always check placement of all wiring before powering up to insure that moving door parts will not catch any wires and cause damage
to equipment.
•Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards (i.e. ANSI A156.10) upon completion of installation.

Receiver Setup:
To program the receiver (pn 10RD433 sold separately), perform the following steps:
1. On the 433MHz digita receiver, press the brown earn button once (the ye ow LED wi i uminate).
2. Within 20 seconds, press the facep ate of the assemb ed pushp ate once (the ye ow LED on the receiver wi go out).
3. Press the facep ate again (the ye ow LED wi f ash for 2 seconds).
4. Press the facep ate again to verify receiver detection (the ye ow LED wi f ash and the red LED wi i uminate for the ength of time set by
the dipswitch).
NOTE: To c ear the memory of the receiver, press and ho d the earn button for 10 seconds.
