Setup your WSR-1000

Step 1: Connect the WSR-1000 Transmitter to a source device (HD Set-top-box, Blu-ray player, PC
etc.) with a HDMI cable. Connect the HDMI cable to HDMI IN on the Transmitter from the
HDMI OUT on the source device.
If you want to connect the source device wired to a nearby display device (loop through) you
can do so by connecting a HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT on the Transmitter and to an HDMI
IN on the display device.
Step 2: Connect the Receiver to the display device (TV, Projector, etc) with a HDMI cable. Connect the
HDMI cable from HDMI OUT on the Receiver to a HDMI IN on the display unit.
Step 3: Connect the IR emitter to the IR OUT on Transmitter. Place the IR emitter in front of the IR
receiver on the source device.
(If you do not need the IR extending function, please skip step 3 and 4)
Step 4: Connect the IR receiver to the IR IN on WSR-1000 Reciever. Place the IR receiver so you
can point the remote control of the source device at it.
(If you do not need the IR extending function, please skip step 3 and step 4)
Step 5: Connect a DC 5V/1A power adaptor to each of the Transmitter and Receiver. Connect the
power jack (MicroUSB) to the .
Step 6: The WSR-1000 is now connected. If you do not have an image on your display, please pair the
Transmitter and Receiver. First, press the MODE key on Transmitter and then on
Receiver – see more in section “B” on next page.

Operation
A. Notes on the installation
1. Make sure your input AC voltage conforms to the adaptor specifications.
2. Only use the power adaptor provided with the WSR-1000. If you use another power supply,
make sure the power output is 5V DC, 1A centre positive.
3. The maximum range of the WSR-100 is approximately 30 meter with direct line-of-sight
between the Transmitter and Receiver. Obstacles and/or walls between transmitter and
receiver may shorten the range.
4. To ensure good infrared remote control operation aim your remote control at the IR receiver
of the WSR-1000 and press the buttons firmly. (Some remote controls may require that you
press and hold each button for about a second). The working angle of the IR receiver is +/-
15 degrees.
5. The remote control has to be operated within 0.3 to 5 meters distance from remote control to
IR receiver.
B. Transmitter and Receiver Pairing MODE
1. Press the MODE key on the Receiver.
2. You will see the message “Connecting through Pairing” on screen.
3. Then press the MODE key for a second on the Transmitter.
4. The Receiver and Transmitter will now auto connect.
C. IR Extending function
1. Make sure the IR emitter is installed properly in the Transmitter.
2. Make sure the IR receiver is installed properly in the Receiver.
3. Use the remote control from source device to control the source form the Receiver.
Note: Please do not cover either Transmitter or Receiver with any object. Objects could block
the air circulation and interfere with functionality.

Configurer votre WSR-1000

Étape 1 : Raccordez le transmetteur WSR-1000 à un appareil source (décodeur HD, lecteur Blu-ray,
PC etc.) avec un câble HDMI. Raccordez le câble HDMI à l'entrée HDMI du transmetteur
depuis la sortie HDMI de l'appareil source.
Si vous souhaitez raccorder l'appareil source avec un câble à un dispositif d'affichage situé à
proximité (boucle), vous pouvez le faire en raccordant un câble HDMI depuis la sortie HDMI
du transmetteur vers une entrée HDMI du dispositif d'affichage.
Étape 2 : Raccordez le récepteur au dispositif d'affichage (télévision, projecteur, etc.) avec un câble
HDMI. Raccordez le câble HDMI depuis la sortie HDMI du récepteur vers une entrée HDMI
du dispositif d'affichage.
Étape 3 : Raccordez l'émetteur IR à la sortie IR du transmetteur. Placez l'émetteur IR devant le
récepteur IR de l'appareil source.
(Si vous n'avez pas besoin de la fonction d'extension IR, veuillez sauter les étapes 3 et 4)
Étape 4 : Raccordez le récepteur IR à l'entrée IR du récepteur WSR-1000. Placez le récepteur IR de
façon à pouvoir diriger la télécommande de l'appareil source vers lui.
(Si vous n'avez pas besoin de la fonction d'extension IR, veuillez sauter les étapes 3 et 4)
Étape 5 : Raccordez un adaptateur secteur CC 5 V/1 A au transmetteur et au récepteur. Branchez la
prise d'alimentation (micro USB) au .
Étape 6 : Le WSR-1000 est à présent connecté. Si vous n'avez pas d'image sur votre écran, veuillez
appairer le transmetteur et le récepteur. Appuyez d'abord sur la touche MODE sur le
transmetteur puis sur le récepteur. Pour en savoir plus, veuillez consulter la section « B »
en page suivante.

Fonctionnement
A. Remarques concernant l'installation
1. Assurez-vous que votre tension d'entrée CA est conforme aux spécifications de l'adaptateur.
2. Utilisez uniquement l'adaptateur secteur fourni avec le WSR-1000. Si vous utilisez une autre
alimentation électrique, assurez-vous que la puissance de sortie est 5 V CC, 1 A centre
positif.
3. La portée maximale du WSR-100 est d'environ 30 mètres en visibilité directe entre le
transmetteur et le récepteur. Les obstacles et/ou les murs entre le transmetteur et le
récepteur peuvent réduire la portée.
4. Pour garantir un bon fonctionnement de la télécommande infrarouge, dirigez votre
télécommande vers le récepteur IR du WSR-1000 et appuyez fermement sur les boutons.
(Certaines télécommandes peuvent nécessiter d'appuyer et de maintenir enfoncé chaque
bouton pendant environ une seconde). L'angle de fonctionnement du récepteur IR est +/- 15
degrés.
5. La télécommande doit être utilisée à une distance de 30 cm à 5 mètres entre la
télécommande et le récepteur IR.
B. MODE appairage du transmetteur et du récepteur
1. Appuyez sur la touche MODE du récepteur.
2. Vous pourrez voir le message « Connexion par appairage » à l'écran.
3. Puis appuyez sur la touche MODE pendant une seconde sur le transmetteur.
4. Le récepteur et le transmetteur vont à présent se connecter automatiquement.
C. Fonction d'extension IR
1. Assurez-vous que l'émetteur IR est installé correctement dans le transmetteur.
2. Assurez-vous que le récepteur IR est installé correctement dans le récepteur.
3. Utilisez la télécommande de l'appareil source pour contrôler la source à partir du récepteur.
Remarque : Veuillez ne pas recouvrir le transmetteur ou le récepteur avec un objet. Les objets
peuvent bloquer la circulation de l'air et perturber le fonctionnement.
