ower Requirement
All FlowMark Systems are fitted with a auto-switching power supply that can accept
110VAC or 220 VAC power input. Systems are supplied with a molded 110 VAC Power
Cord that can e plugged in to any 110 VAC wall outlet. If you choose to run the unit on
220 VAC simply cut the male plug off the power cord and wire the three wires accordingly:
White: Hot Leg
Black: Hot Leg
Green: Ground
Choosing The Correct Treatment Location
Municipal otable Water Treatment: Install after the water meter on the cold water
inlet to the uilding.
Well otable Water Treatment: Install on the pipe exiting the pressure tank.
Water Softener re-Treatment: Install a minimum of 5 feet ahead of the softener.
Single pass rocess Treatment: Install at least 5 feet up stream of the process to
e protected from scaling.
Re-Circulating Systems: Install after the circulation pump. Minimum 4 times the
pipe diameter after the pump. Example: (3” pipe = minimum 12” after the pump).
***Note: It is always etter to choose an area of laminar flow when selecting the
treatment location. When possi le avoid installing at el ows, T’s, efore pumps, etc.
***Warning: The FlowMark treatment pads may interfere with magnetic flow-meter
operation. Maintain a minimum of 5 feet clearance from magnetic flow-meter pick-up.

3 Year Limited Warranty:
ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER: FlowMark Water Treatment, LLC warrants this water
treatment device to the original purchaser against defective parts and workmanship for a
period of (3) three years from the end user purchase date according to the following
schedule: The Electronic Water Treatment Device will e repaired or replaced (at our
option) free of charge during the full 3 year term.
EXCLUSION: This warranty does not apply to lightning damage, flood damage, a use or
improper installation. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement and does not in-
clude consequential damage or installation expenses and is in lieu of any and all other
warranties, either expressed or implied. This warranty gives you specific rights and you
may have other rights which vary from state to state.
NOTE: Warranty void if holes are drilled into the FlowMark enclosure.
Warranty void if signal ca les are shortened or lengthened without factory approval.
Warranty void if induction pad material is cut or opened for any reason.
Installing Your FlowMark Treatment ads:
The treatment pads can e installed on horizontal or vertical piping.
Two treatment pads are included with this model FlowMark system. The dimensions of
the pads are too large to use an opposing install on 2” pipe ut may e installed
opposing each other on 3” pipe. Position the pads with the sides marked “To Pipe”
toward the pipe for either opposing or offset style installation.
1. Form the shape of the treatment pad to the pipe shape y squeezing the pad with
oth hands into the position you have selected
2. Use ca le ties provided to secure the pads to the pipe. Do not over tighten ties.

Installing the ipe Cover:
The white PVC pipe cover with the FlowMark la el is included to provide a finished look to
the installation.
1. Hold the pipe cover up to the area where the treatment pads have een installed and
mark the pipe where the ends will e.
2. Install one piece of weather stripping around the pipe inside the lines just marked on
the pipe.
3. Open the pipe cover and install it over your treatment pad installation with the la el
facing you.
4. Remove adhesive strip from the pipe cover to seal the installation.
Note: It may e difficult to hold the pipe cover open using two hands due to the strong
memory of the product. A second person helping will make it much easier.

Mounting the Control anel:
Choose a solid wall for mounting the control panel within 10 feet of the treatment pad
location.
Use lag olts or tap cons and secure four mounting rackets to the wall.
Connecting and owering the Unit:
Connect the signal ca le to the treatment pad installation y inserting the male connector
into the female connector. Push together until a click is heard to lock the connector.
Be sure to neatly route the signal ca le etween the Controller and the Treatment Pads to
avoid damage.
Plug the FlowMark Controller into a 110 VAC outlet and o serve the yellow and lue lights.
YELLOW LIGHT ON = Power to the Controller
BLUE LIGHT ON = Treatment Active.
Trouble Shooting
Both Yellow and Blue Lights OFF… Check GFI or Circuit Breaker and reset.
Yellow Light ON and Blue Light OFF… Check signal ca le connection or find damage to
signal ca le and repair.
Things to Look For:
In addition to preventing mineral scale formation the FlowMark system may cause existing
mineral scale to loosen over time and fall off. Strainers or screens in the system could
ecome locked due to accumulation of this loosened material. Check strainers and
screens i-monthly during the first two months of operation and clean as necessary.
Flushing water heater tanks and other vessels in the system will also help rid loosened
scale and prevent clogging.
