Thanks for purchasing ezcap180 VHSDigi VHS Digitizer with 4.3 inch screen. Please read
this manual before use and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
You can use this machine:
Convert VHS and all Composite video to digital file, and save in Micro SD card or USB
flash drive. Convert analog audio to digital MP3 file. Play video and music directly.

Product Overview

1, 4.3 inch TFT screen (480 x 270)
2, –LEFT direction button to operate the menu. For playback, press to Previous,
long press to Fast Rewind.
3, –RIGHT direction button to operate the menu. For playback, press to Next,
long press to Fast Forward.
4, –Long press to power on and off. OK direction button to operate the
menu. For playback, press to play and pause.

5, ESC –Back to the previous menu.
6, REC –In TV IN preview the video mode, press to record video, press again to stop
and save file.
7, DC/DATA –Supply 5V/2A DC power with Type-C cable to charge battery, connect to
computer to manager files.
8, –Connect earphone to listen the audio.
9, AV IN –AV input connection with AV Cable.
10, HDMI OUT –Connect to TV monitor displaying.
11, VOLUME –Press the upper button to increase the volume, and press the lower
button to decrease the volume.
12, Micro SD –Plug Micro SD card to save recording file or play the file in card.
13, USB HOST –Plug USB flash drive to save recording file or play the file in it.
14, SPEAKER –With speaker inside, can listen to the sound directly.
15, RESET –Click to reset to factory default setting.
Preparation Before Use
Connections

Power, Charge and Data
To charge the battery of this device, use Type-C cable to connect with 5V DC or PC, will
see the charge status on screen.
Connect it to PC, will see 3 options: Power & Data, Charge, Charge & Play. Just choose
one you want and click OK. When you choose Power & Data, you can copy the file out
or in to the Micro SD card (Only for Micro SD card, not for USB flash drive).
Micro SD Card / USB Flash Drive
Plug Micro SD card into the slot with right direction as picture, the screen will prompt
Card In when plugged, and a card icon will be displayed in the upper right corner.

Un-plug Micro SD card from device, the screen will prompt Card Out, and the icon will
be disappeared.
Plug USB flash drive into the slot, the screen will prompt External Memory In when
plugged, and a USB stick icon will be displayed in the upper right corner. Un-plug USB
flash drive from device, the screen will prompt External Memory Out, and the icon will
be disappeared.
For file safety, It is best to empty and format the Micro SD card and USB flash drive
before using. Support FAT32, exFAT (does not support NTFS), MAX 32GB.
Note: It is not recommended to connect Micro SD card and USB flash drive at the same
time, if they are connected at the same time, the device will use the first inserted
memory as the recording memory. But can play all files in Micro SD card and USB flash
drive.
AV Input
Use the 3.5mm to 3RCA cable (come with the device in box) connect to the video source,
such as VHS, DV, etc. The 3.5mm connector plugs to the AV IN of device.
The RCA connectors to VHS, yellow = video, white = audio left channel, red = audio
right channel.
When connect ok, at TV IN will see the playing video. Can record the video now. At
Recorder, can listen to the audio of the playing video, can record the audio with this
connection.
Use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable, connect to AV IN port of device and other audio

source, you also can record audio at Recorder.
HDMI Output
Use HDMI cable to connect with HDMI OUT, and another side connects to TV or
monitor. When connected, the screen of ezcap180 VHSDigi and TV will display the
video at the same time.
When previewing and recording video under the TV IN menu, or when recording audio
under the Recorder menu, there will be no audio output from the TV, only the speaker
or earphone output of the device has sound output. While playing video under the
Videos menu, or playing music under the Music menu, there will be no sound from the
speaker and earphone of the device, and only the TV has sound output.
Please do not plug or unplug HDMI cable when playing (playback video or audio,
recording video or audio), otherwise will caused problems.
Earphone Output
Connect earphone or speaker to earphone port, can listen the sound of ezcap180.
When you playback with own screen, plug earphone, the audio will cut off from speaker
of ezcap180 and switch to earphone. When you playback with HDMI OUT, plug
earphone, the audio will keep playing on TV, does not play at earphone.

Start Work
Basic Menus on Screen
Long press to power on ezcap180 (You may need to charge it if it is out of
battery), will see:
1, Time –Shows current time.
2, Function Menu, use direction button to choose icons, press OK to enter:
Videos –Enter to playback recorded videos.
Music –Enter to playback recorded audios.
Pictures –Enter to playback pictures.
TV IN –Enter to preview input video, and record.
Recorder –Enter to preview input audio, and record.
Setting –To set time, language, etc.

Record Video
Enter TV IN, will preview the connecting video, press REC button to record video, press
again to stop recording and save file. While recording, screen will display the recording
time and remaining recordable time in the memory in the lower left corner. After you
finish recording, press ESC button to back to the previous menu.
Note: If you enter TV IN and find the preview video is black and white, or flashing,
please go to Menu: Settings - TV Rec, and switch TV system from PAL to NTSC, or
NTSC to PAL. Press LEFT/RIGHT button to switch PAL and NTSC, press OK to finish.
Record Audio
Enter Recorder, will preview the input audio, press REC button to record audio, press

again to stop recording and save file. After you finish recording, press ESC button to
back to the previous menu.
Video Playback
Enter to Videos, will see the recorded videos, choose file with direction buttons, press
OK to play. When playing, press VOLUME button to set audio level, press LEFT/RIGHT
button to play Previous / Next, and keep press to Fast Rewind / Fast Forward, and
release to resume normal playback. Press ESC button to back to the previous menu.
