Read thoroughly through the installation instructions. The installation must comply with the safety
regulations, rules, restrictions and dimensioning regulations of the country, region and electricity utility.
Heat loss calculations must be performed for the installation site in all cases.
The Opera heaters, supplied with wall brackets, are intended for permanent installation on the wall.
The range also includes models with euro plug.
The Opera heaters are available either with an electronic or a mechanical thermostat.
All the models are equipped with burnout protection. In the nursery models and the clothes
cupboards models the burnout protection can be reset manually, in other models it resets
automatically.
In cramped spaces and locations in which the heater may be covered accidentally, a model for clothes
cupboard must be used.
All the Opera heaters are splashproof IP24. The heaters are double insulated, class II; separate earthing
is not required.
The heaters may not be installed in a vertical stack or immediately below a permanent socket outlet.
The heaters may only be installed into free air space observing the minimum distances, see picture.
The box and termoinal blocks are approved for a 2,5 mm2chained installation., see picture 11. The
box has terminal blocks for 3-phase chaining and if necessary for protective earth chaining (couplers L2 and
L3 ), as well as the following couplers:
L = phase
N = neutral
= slave heater connection
T- = night set back (-5°C). Can be controlled with any phase of 230 V.
BE SURE THAT ALL PHASES AND THE T-POLE OF THE HEATER ARE NOT
CONNECTED DURING SERVICE!
INSTALLATION
1. The connection box can be installed straight onto a flush mounting box. The connection can
also be done by bringing the supply cable through the base or the side (surface mounting) of the
connection box.
