1.SETUP
ExtendtheFrontandBackPieces,thenunfoldandlocktheBackPieceintoplace.
2.ADJUST
CapturethechinbetweentheChinStrapandPadding,andproceedtoencirclingthepatienttoconnecttheBuckletotheBuckleReceiver.
Note:Toeasilyconnectthebuckle,grabthebucklebytheSideStrapandplaceflatagainsttheXCollartoslideitintotheBuckleReceiver.
AdjustSideStrapsevenlytopatientcircumferenceusingOpposingForces.
Note:ThefirstSideStrapadjustedshouldonlyreducethefreespacearoundtheheadsincepropertighteningwillbeachievedoncethesecond
SideStrapisadjustedtothepatient’scircumference.Asyouadjustthecircumference,propercapturingofthechinshouldbemaintained.
ExtendtheChestSupportPiecetotheuppersternumwhilecontrollingc‐spineandpinchLockingTabsintothelockposition.

SlideBackPieceata45°angletomidlineunderneaththepatient’sshoulderbladeswhileemployinga“Push‐and‐Pull”(OpposingForces)method.
Note:“Push&Pull”forcesentailpullingupontheclothingasyoupushintheXCollar.BesuretoplacethebucklebetweentheXCollarandthe
floortofacilitateeaseofentryandpositioning.Ideallyyoushouldcomefromthepatient’srightshouldertopreventheadmovement.
PivottheBackPiecetobein‐linewiththespineandensureproperplacementoftheoccipitalpaddirectlyundertheoccipital.
