SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• For information on cleaning, please refer to the chapter on
“MAINTENANCE”.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without superv1s10n.
• It is imperative that the polarity of the battery terminals be ob-
served. Check that the terminals ( +) and (-) are installed in the
right direction,as per the diagram.
• Do not mix used batteries with new or different types of battery:
alkaline batteries with standard batteries (zinc-carbon) or with
rechargeable batteries (nickel-cadmium).
• Never use batteries that show signs of electrolyte leakage or
cracks.
• Used batteries must never be thrown into re as they risk explod-
ing.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Used batteries must always be removed from the appliance.
• Remove the batteries from the appliance before disposing of it
when it is no longer functional, or during long periods of non-use.
• Never attempt to open batteries.
• Batteries (or battery packs) must not be exposed to excessive heat
(sunlight, re etc.).
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• Check that the battery compartment panel is rmly closed.
• Do not use the unit if it has fallen or been damaged in any way.
