TZVA 05/10 is a mechanical video and audio switcher with 5 and 10 inputs.
Reliable and versatile it's suited for professional and multimedial use.
The unit is bi-directional and may be useful where one source may be routed
alternatively towards 5 or 10 destinations.

By five (ten) external dry contacts connected to connector DB25p.f. REMOTE
it's possible to ro te the five (ten) inp ts.
The relative tally signals are provided for lighting- p the external leds as
indicated below.

the nit.

3.0 SETTINGS
The unit has inside the setting (JP1) for the autosequencing time
(seechapter 7.1):

4.0 INSTALLATION
a) Be sure that all the units to be installed are in O state.
b) Connect the sources and destination video and audio as illustrated:
ATTENTION
ONLY one destination must be
connected to the output
c) Power the unit as described in chapter 2.0 and check that the led in the
pushbutton 1 lights up.
5.0 LOCAL CO AND
The switcher TZVA 05/10 may be controlled
by the five (ten) pushbuttons on the front
panel.
The lighting up of the led indicates which
source is routed on the output.
At the power-on the source 1 is automatically
activated.

7.0 AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS
TZVA 05/10 has two auxiliary functions which can be activated by two dry
contacts connected to connector DB25 . f. REMOTE.
Function stays active until the relative in is connected to GND ( in 25).
7.1 AUTOSEQUENCING
The five (ten) in uts are routed alternatively with a eriod of 4 or 10 seconds.
The eriod is defined by the osition of the jum er inside the unit.
(See cha ter 3.0)
7.2 MUTE
The out ut is left o en.
ATTENTION
AUTOSEQUENCING and MUTE are mutually

8.0 HOST CONTROL
TZVA 05/10 may be controlled in all its functions by host computer sending an
exadecimal character.
Transmission is RS 232, 8 bits,
1 stop bit, no parity.
Baud rate is 2 00.
Character must be sent to pin #12 of
connector B25 p.f. REMOTE.
GN is pin #25.
In the table below are shown the codes sent by host and the relative function
on the TZVA 05/10.
AUTOSEQUENCING and MUTE
are removed repeating the
command or sending the code of
another command.
AUTOSEQUENCING and MUTE
are removed pressing a
pushbutton on front panel.
In this case will be routed the
input relative to the pushbutton
pressed.
