Applications
ELEKTRA MMV heating mats are designed for
various applications, e.g. defreezing of the
ground for building works or farming. The mats:
• facilitate drilling works for filter systems for
drinking water as well as for plumbing systems,
• enable continuation of ground building works
in winter conditions,
• support plant growth in the soil,
• remove icing from external surfaces such as:
passageways, stairs, roof throughs or roof
surfaces, technological process lines on external
units of fan coils, chillers or heat pumps,
• restore flexibility of cables on spools, facilitate
unwinding, enable installation works of power
cables or telecom cables,
• defreeze haylage in bales,
• protect water tanks against freezing,
• protect storage tanks dedicated for animal
feed/sand/road salt.
The mats are equipped with a power supply
conductor with a plug, enabling mains
connection through a standard 230V/50Hz
electrical socket, as well as a power generator
or building switchboard.

Maintenance
Disconnect the power supply conductor from
the mains before starting the cleaning procedure.
Wash the surface with a damp sponge or cloth,
adding mild detergent (e.g. washing-up liquid).
Never apply any corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents or any sharp objects – this can cause
damage to the mat’s surface.
Never paint or varnish the external surfaces.

Warranty conditions
ELEKTRA company grants a 2 year-long
warranty (from the date of purchase) for the
ELEKTRA MMV heating mats.
1. For the claim to be recognized, the following
are required:
a. installation must be executed in accordance
with this installation manual,
b. presentation of the proof of purchase of
the heating mat under complaint.
2. The Warranty loses validity if any attempt
at repair has been undertaken by an installer
unauthorised by the ELEKTRA company.
3. The Warranty does not cover the damages
inflicted as a result of:
a. mechanical fault,
b. incompatible power supply,
c. lack of adequate overload and differential
protection measures.

4. ELEKTRA company undertakes, as part of
warranty, to cover expenses associated solely
with replacement or repair of the faulty
heating mat under complaint.
5. The Warranty covering the purchased
commercial goods does not exclude, limit
or suspend other Buyer’s rights resulting from
the incompatibility of the goods purchased
with the agreement of purchase.
The Warranty claims must be registered
with the Warranty Card and proof
of purchase, in the place of purchase
or the offices of ELEKTRA company.
