Important Safety Warnings and Instructions
Read carefully and keep forfuture reference:
zThis appliance is intended for use by children 8 years old and older and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they
are under supervision or have been given instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe
manner and they understand the potential hazards.
zChildren must not play with the appliance.
zCleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
zUnpack the product carefully and be careful not to throw away any part of the packaging material
until you find all the parts ofthe product.
zRemove all packaging and marketing materials from the product before first use.
zTake extra care if the product is to be used near children. Always place the product out of their
reach. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
zDo not allow the product to be used as a toy.
zAlways install the product on a flat, dry and stable surface.
zDo not use the product otherthan as described in this User Manual.
zThe product is intended for household use. It is not intended for commercial use or for continuous
operation, e.g., in restaurants.
zThe product is intended for indoor use; do not use it outdoors.
zNever use accessories that are not supplied with this product or are not intended for this product.
zYou should not repair or modify the product yourself under any circumstances! Entrust all repairs
and adjustments to this product to a professional company / service company. Interference with
the product during the warranty period exposes you to the risk of losing warranty claims.
zUse and store the product away from explosive gases, combustible, flammable and volatile
substances (solvents, varnishes, adhesives, etc.).
zDo not expose the product to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, excessive humidity or
excessive dust.
zDo not place the product near heaters, open fire or other appliances or devices that are sources
of heat.
zDo not use the product for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
zDo not spray the product with water or any other liquid.
zDo not shake the product and make sure that it does not fall to the ground.
zNever place the product on an inclined surface.
zThe manufacturer shall not be liable for damages caused by incorrect use of the appliance and
its accessories.
zIf you do not use the product for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the
product, otherwise they may leak into the battery compartment and irreparably damage the
product.
zKeep the batteries out of reach of children. They can pose a danger in their presence. If a child
swallows a battery, seek medical attention immediately.
zDo not use the product to store objects and ensure that no other objects are placed on the product
when storing it.
zIf the maximum weighing capacity (100 g) is exceeded, remove part or all of the raw material from
the weighing area immediately, otherwise irreparable damage to the weighing sensors or the entire
product may occur.
