casually dismiss instructions and seek to gure it out on their own. But studies show that people who read
instructions will get up to speed more quickly and eciently than those who poke around with trial and error.

The Sphere ultrasonic humidier makes any room look stylish and is perfect to provide your personal space
with optimum humidity. The ultrasonic technology produces a cool mist in just a matters of seconds. And
even though the humidier is compact, it is able to run 8-10 hours one a full tank. The additional nightlight
creates a mystical mood and provides convenience during the evening and night. The Sphere’s operation is
whisper quiet and most importantly: it uses 80% less power than traditional humidiers.

Cleaning
Disconnect the adapter before cleaning.
1Wipe all surfaces dry and remove hard water
stains.
2Use a disinfectant wipe to safely get rid of any
bacteria.
3Fill the tank with water and 2 or 3 table spoons
of white vinegar and let it rest for about
20-30 minutes.
4Rinse the base thoroughly to get rid of anything
but water.
5Fill the tank with water and it’s ready to be used
again!
We advise to empty out your humidier every day
and wipe all surfaces dry. Consider using distilled
water to reduce calcication.
Note: DO NOT clean the tank with hot, boiling
water or place in the dishwasher.

6. FAQ
This section lists the questions most frequently
asked about the device. We will regularly update
this section on the product page of our website.
So please keep an eye on www.duux.com if your
question is not listed.
Q. What is the recommended indoor humidity
level?
A. The ideal indoor humidity level is between 40
and 60% relative humidity.
Q. How long does it take to reach the ideal
humidity in a certain room?
A. This depends on a lot of factors. Let us start
o by saying that “relative humidity” is the
amount of moisture in the air compared to
what the air can “hold” at that temperature.
When the air can’t “hold” all the moisture, then it
condenses as dew. The RH that can be reached
depends on the room temperature, usage and
room size. The amount of moisture that can be
released in the air (per hour) is and 220 ml. 1 ml
is equal to 1 gram.
For example, at 20˚C a cubic meter of air
can hold a maximum of 18 grams of water.
At 25˚C, it can hold 22 grams of water. If the
temperature is 25˚C and a cubic meter of air
contains 22 grams of water, then the relative
humidity is 100%. If it contains 11 grams of
water, the relative humidity is 50%. So if a
room is 4 x 2 x 2,5 meters (20 cubic meters)
at a temperature of 25˚C, the air can hold a
maximum of 440 grams of water in the air.
Depending on the current humidity in that
room, it should take just a few hours to reach
the desired relative humidity.
Q. How can I measure the indoor humidity?
A. Instruments that measure relative humidity
are called hygrometers. You can buy them
online or at your local electronic store.
Q. How long should I run the humidier?
A. Do not run for more than 8 hours continuously
to prevent an over humid room. Use a
hygrometer or hygrostat to determine the room
humidity (the ideal relative humidity is between
40% and 60%).
Q. Where can I obtain aromatherapy to use in
this device?
A. Duux oers a various range of aromatherapies
like lavender, eucalyptus and citronella. But
you can also buy it online or at your local
wellness shop. However, always look out
for aromatherapy that is suitable for use in
humidiers. This way you will not damage the
device.
Q. Why do I hear a humming sound when the
device is in use?
A.. There is a small fan located in the top part of
the humidier that blows out mist. The “droplet”
noise is caused by the ultrasonic component.
Don’t worry, it’s normal.
Q. Does temperature inuence the room
humidity?
A. Yes it does. When the temperature in the room
is higher, it can hold more humidity. The ideal
room temperature is between 18 and 20˚C.
Q. Where in the room should I place the
humidier for optimal results?
A. Do not put the humidier in a corner. The rule
of thumb is to keep a meter clearance at the
top, front, and sides for optimal eciency.
Q. Any other eciency tips?
A. Keep all windows and doors closed as much as
possible when the humidier is in use for
optimal results.

Der Sphere Ultraschall-Luftbefeuchter ist nicht nur ein echter Hingucker, er versorgt Ihre Räume auch mit
einem optimalen Maß an Luftfeuchtigkeit. Mit Hilfe der einzigartigen Ultraschalltechnik bildet er in wenigen
Sekunden einen feinen Dunst. Dank seiner kompakten Größe nimmt der Luftbefeuchter kaum Platz ein.
Trotzdem reicht nur eine Wassertankfüllung für 8-10 Stunden konstante Luftbefeuchtung. Das zusätzlich
eingebaute Nachtlicht taucht das Zimmer in mystisches Licht und wird zum angenehmen Begleiter am
Abend und in der Nacht. Sphere arbeitet fast geräuschlos und am wichtigsten: er verbraucht 80% weniger
Strom als herkömmliche Luftbefeuchter.

5Füllen Sie frisches Wasser in den Wassertank
ein. Der Luftbefeuchter ist wieder startklar!
Wir empfehlen den Luftbefeuchter jeden
Tag zu leeren und die Oberäche regelmäßig
abzutrocknen. Verwenden Sie möglichst
destilliertes Wasser, um Kalkablagerungen zu
vermeiden.
