Contents of this handbook
The range of VCRs DH series is designed to allow the management and the recording of CCTV cameras and includes templates for
analog cameras and for HD-SDI technology in cameras. In this manual, the control graphical user interface is described and all the
options contained therein.
It is assumed that the DVR has been connected correctly according to the installation instructions. For convenience it will refer to
commands by using the mouse.
Switching on the DVR
After having prepared the hard disk connections and installed as explained in the appropriate manual it is possible to proceed to the first
ignition. Connect the power plug, the DVR will start automatically.
Once you connected to the power supply it is possible to turn on and off the DVR by pressing and holding for a few seconds the
POWER button on the keyboard.

Configuration Wizard (wizard)
At the first start the DVR offers a Wizard to configure the basic operating parameters. Follow this procedure is not essential, but it
enables you to set quickly the essential parameters to operate the DVR correctly. When you have completed the setup wizard, you can
customize additional options in the intervening complete configuration menu.
On the first page of the wizard you can choose the "DO NOT SHOW THIS PAGE" option to be enabled once you configure will be

Login administrator
The first action by the wizard has set a password to access the DVR.

By default login credentials are as follows:

Basic parameters
The Key Parameters page includes 3 folders: System, Time and Daylight Saving Time
In the System folder, you can set the video format in Italy is set to PAL, and the language of the text which DVR factory is set ITALIAN.

In NOW folder to set the date and time correct, the date format in Italy is normally DD / MM / YYYY and the time format: usually 24 hours.
It also chooses the reference time zone in Italy is GMT + 1.
Finally you can choose whether to update the date and time automatically by synchronizing with a network server, of course, to be used
only with DVR connected to the Internet.
In the DST folder you set the parameters to allow the DVR to go alone from summer time to winter time. In Italy the summer time begins
on the last Sunday in March (2 hours) and lasts until the last Sunday of October (3 hours).
Network parameters
The second section of the wizard includes the network parameters necessary if you connect the DVR to a network or a router through the
rear RJ45 port.

E 'can choose the automatic assignment via a network DHCP server, or set the parameters manually. The DHCP automatic configuration
can be useful to those who administers the network independently to learn about the settings used by the network to which you connect.
After that it is always preferable to set a manual fixed address in order to avoid that the same will automatically change in the future. Click
NEXT DVR will undertake a review of the chosen settings and reports any abnormalities
If the network test is not necessary, you can press the SKIP button.
DDNS parameters and network ports
The third section covers the advanced network parameters used to access the DVR from the Internet via a router. The page consists of 2
DOORS DDNS and folders.

In the DDNS tab you can enter your login parameters if you want to use a service offered by a DDNS provider. The DDNS service is
useful if you can not get a static IP address from your ISP.
They are manageable major DDNS providers such as: DYNDNS, NO-IP, CHANGEDNS, DNSEXIT, 3322. E 'can also select 2 free DDNS
services made available to users of DSE series DVR DH: This is WWW.88110.NET, and WWW .REELINK.NET. Detailed instructions on
how to use these two free DDNS services for our users are available in the installation manual. Once DDNS set is available the TEST
button to check the proper functioning of the connection with the inserted parameters.
La cartella PORTE precisa le porte TCP/IP che il DVR utilizzerà per la connessione remota. I DVR serie DH sono sviluppati per utilizzare
2 sole porte di comunicazione: la porta WEB (default:80) che si utilizza per collegarsi con il browser tramite PC e la porta Media/Mobile

è utilizzata per l’invio dello streaming video e per l’accesso da cellulare. In genere non è necessario modificare le porte di default a meno
che non siano giù utilizzate da altri sistemi oppure non si debbano poter raggiungere più DVR all’interno della stessa rete.
Parametri registrazione
La pagina successiva imposta i parametri di registrazione da utilizzare sui vari canali. La pagina si compone di due cartelle: BASE e
QUALITA’
Nella cartella BASE per ogni canale è possibile abilitare o meno le seguenti opzioni: ATTIVO (per abilitare la registrazione del canale)
AUDIO (per registrare anche l’ingresso audio) e REGISTRAZIONE per decidere se registrare in modo continuo oppure sulla base del
calendario che si personalizzerà più avanti.
Vi sono al fondo 2 pulsanti COPIA per poter copiare la configurazione eseguita per un canale su altri.

Nella cartella QUALITA’ si definisce per ogni canale la risoluzione video (massima WD1 960H nei modello per telecamere analogiche e
FullHD 1080p per telecamere HD-SDI), il numero di fotogrammi al secondo (massimo 25 f/sec real time) e la qualità video (maggiore o
minore compressione). I DVR serie RH sono 100% REAL TIME per cui è possibile impostare i parametri massimi su tutti i canali.
Vi sono al fondo 2 pulsanti COPIA per poter copiare la configurazione eseguita per un canale su altri.

In questa pagina si gestiscono gli hard disk su cui il DVR esegue la registrazione. Se avete avuto cura di installare uno o più Hard Disk
all’interno del DVR come indicato nelle relative istruzioni, li troverete elencati nella tabella.

Per poter utilizzare l’unità disco occorre formattarla. Per formattare l’Hard Disk basta selezionarlo e premere FORMATTA. Attendere il
completamento della formattazione. Al termine potrete leggere nella tabella la capacità del disco e lo stato diventerà OK.
Nell’ultima casella si può definire come gestire la sovrascrittura del disco. Esistono 3 opzioni di sovrascrittura: MAI ( la registrazione si
arresta al termine dello spazio) , PER CAPACITA’ (al termine dello spazio su disco si sovrascrivono i file più vecchi), PER GIORNI
(vengono sovrascritti i files video dopo un certo numero di giorni che è possibile indicare)
Fine della procedura guidata
L’ultima finestra della configurazione guidata serve per salvare i settaggi e iniziare ad utilizzare il DVR
A questo punto è possibile iniziare a utilizzare il videoregistratore. Se necessario sarà poi possibile personalizzare ulteriori opzioni nella
configurazione avanzata, come spiegheremo più avanti.
