USING YOUR DASh shaved ice maker
Place ice cubes inside the Interior Bowl. The bowl should be filled
to the top level. If the ice has been in the freezer for a long time,
it may be too hard and may need to rest at room temperature for
a few minutes before shaving. The machine will then produce a
fluffier snow.
Place the Clear Lid on top of the Interior Bowl, locking it into
place by aligning the fin-shaped notch on the lid with the
corresponding notch on the Motor Unit.
To activate the machine, turn the lid counter clockwise until the
fin-shaped notch activates the Safety Switch. To stop the shaving
process, turn the lid clockwise to deactivate the Safety Switch. For
optimal results, hold onto the lid during the shaving process to
ensure all ice is shaved.
Unplug the Dash Shaved Ice Maker after each use.

Place an empty bowl on the base of the unit. This bowl will be
used to collect the shaved ice.
NOTE: At this time you may want to insert the Ice Guard, which
helps the ice shavings go more directly into the bowl. Simply slide
the Ice Guard into place so that the notches on the Ice Guard and
the Exterior Bowl align. (See red arrows on the left for reference)
