Things to consider:
• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency band can reduce
thetransmissionrange.
• Therange of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of obstacles located
between thetransmitter and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with
thesignal much more than aplasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try thefollowing:
• Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to check whether this is thecause
of theproblem.
• Move any other existing wireless equipment. Shorten thedistance between
thesending and receiving devices and reduce thenumber of obstacles (walls,
furniture,etc.) betweenthem.
Safety
• Theproduct must not be dismantled or modified in anyway.
• Theweather station must not be exposed to rain or moisture.
• Theproduct is not intended to be used as areference thermometer and Clas
Ohlson will not be held liable for any damage which may result from inaccurate
readings.
• Thebattery should be removed if theproduct is not to be used for anextended
period, otherwise thebattery might leak and damage theproduct. Neverleave
adischarged battery in thebattery compartment.
• Changing thebattery on theweather station erases thesaved min and max
readings.
• Do not expose theproduct to impacts.

Installation
Batteries
Note: Usefresh, high quality alkaline batteries. Nevermix old and new batteries.
Change all batteries at thesametime. Nevercombine rechargeable batteries with
standard batteries.
Mainunit
1. Fold out thetable stand (23) and locate thebatterycover.
2. Slide thebattery cover in thedirection of thearrow.
3. Observe themarkings on thebottom of thebattery compartment and insert
2×AAA/LR03 batteries.
4. Slide thebattery cover back on until it clicks intoplace.
Sensorunit
1. Slide sensor’s battery cover in thedirection of thearrow.
2. Observe themarkings on thebottom of thebattery compartment and insert
2×AA/LR6 batteries.
3. Slide thebattery cover back on until it clicks intoplace.
Handytip: Thelow-battery indicator will show whenever thebatteries in either
theweather station or sensor start becoming low (14 and 16). Change batteries
in order to ensure thedevice’s continued uninterrupted performance.

Synchronisation
1. Place theunits close to eachother.
2. Make sure that thechannel selector (26) is set to channel 1.
3. Synchronisation will begin automatically once all batteries are inplace.
4. Theweather station will automatically display readings from channel 1 (if CH 1
does not show (3), press [CH/▲] repeatedly until CH 1 shows).
5. If theoutdoor temperature shows (readings from thesensor) on theweather
station’s display, synchronisation is complete.
6. Theunits can now be placed at their desired locations. Note: Maxrange: 30m.
Adding additional sensors using channels 2 and 3
Theweather station can be supplemented by theaddition of two extra sensors
(soldseparately). Makesure that each sensor is assigned its own channel.
1. Choose asensor that you wish to broadcast on channel 2 and open its battery
compartment.
2. Set thechannel selector (26) to channel 2.
3. Observe themarkings on thebottom of thebattery compartment and insert
2×AA/LR6 batteries.
4. Refit thebatterycover.
5. Press and hold in [CH/▲] until thesignal icon (4) begins toflash.
Theweather station will begin searching for theoutdoor sensor.
6. Press [CH/▲] repeatedly on theweather station until CH 2 appears (3).
7. After ashort moment, thereadings from channel 2 will appear on theweather station.
8. Repeat thesame procedure for setting another sensor to channel 3, if needed.
Placement/mounting
Weather station
• Theweather station has integrated temperature and moisture sensors. Becareful
when placing theunit so that it is not located near heaters, cookers, or other heat
sources.
• Theweather station can be used with its table stand (23) or hung on awall using
its eyelet (22).
• Avoid placing theunit next to metal objects such as metal window frames as this
may cause interference with reception.
Sensorunit
• Place thesensor in alocation that is protected from direct sunlight andrain.
• Mount thesensor at least 2.5 m above ground, if possible.
• Fasten ascrew to thewall and hang up thesensor from its eyelet (25).

Operating instructions
Setting thetime, date and temperatureunit
Depress [AL/SET ] button for about 3 seconds to reach thesettingsmode. Theselected
settings will begin toflash. Pressor hold in [CH/▲] or [MEM/▼] to change readings.
Confirm each stage with [AL/SET]. Set thefollowing in sequentialorder:
• Year ”Yr”: Yearsetting
• Month: Monthsetting
• Day: Daysetting
• 12H/24H: 12or 24 hour clock setting
• Hour: Hoursetting
• Minute: Minute setting
• ºC/ºF: Setstemperature units (degrees Celsius (ºC) or Fahrenheit (ºF))
Alarm
Setting thealarm
1. Press [AL/SET] to enter alarmmode. “AL” will show on thedisplay.
2. Press and hold [AL/SET] for about 3 seconds until thehours display flashes.
3. Press [CH/▲] or [MEM/▼] to set thehours.
4. Press [AL/SET]again. Theminutes display will begin flashing.
5. Press [CH/▲] or [MEM/▼] to set theminutes.
6. Press [AL/SET] or wait 10 seconds to return to normal time and date display.
Activating thealarm
1. Press [AL/SET] to enter alarmmode. “AL” will show on thedisplay.
2. Press [MEM/▼] to activate thealarm. Thealarm icon (18) will then appear on
thedisplay.
Activating thesnooze function
1. Thealarm will sound at theset time and thealarm icon will also (18)flash.
2. Press [SNOOZE/LIGHT] (1) to activate thesnooze function.
3. Thealarm will turn off, thesnooze icon (19) will begin to flash and thealarm will
sound again after 5 minutes.

Shutting o thealarm
Press any of thebuttons (10, 11 or 12) under thedisplay. Thealarm will then shut off
for thecurrent day and sound at theset time on thenextday.
Deactivating thealarm
1. Press the [AL/SET] button. “AL” will show on thedisplay.
2. Press [MEM/▼] to deactivate thealarm. Thealarm icon (18) will then disappear
from thedisplay.
Display backlight
Press the [SNOOZE/LIGHT] (1) to turn thebacklighton.
Thelight will automatically go out after afew seconds.
Temperaturetrend
Thesymbols show thetemperature trend next to its respective reading (2 and 6).
Rising temperature
Falling temperature
Steady temperature
Max and min readings
1. Press [MEM/▼] to view max temperature and humidity readings.
2. Press once to display all min readings.
3. Press again to return to current readings.
Resetting max and min readings:
1. Press [MEM/▼] until themax or min readings show up on thedisplay.
2. Press and hold [MEM/▼] to reset thereadings.
Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct using alightly moistenedcloth. Useonly mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.

Troubleshootingguide
Theweather station
doesn’t display anything.
• Check thebatteries in theweather station and
connected sensorunit.
Temperature and
moisture readings
are not shown from
thesensorunit.
• Make sure thecorrect channel is set on theweather
station and sensorunit.
• Reduce thedistance or relocate theunits so that they
are within range of eachother.
• Check thebatteries in theweather station and
connected sensorunit.
• Re-synchronise thedevices. SeetheSynchronisation
sectionabove.
Temperature, humidity
and barometric readings
are inaccurate.
• Remove thebatteries, wait awhile and then
reinsertthem. Re-synchronise thedevices.
• Make sure theunits are free from interference from
heat sources, air-conditioning units, or similar.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of
with general householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout theentire EU.
Inorder to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in
for recycling so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible
