Product Description
Pre-programmed remote control, -in-1, for TV and digital/satellite receiver.
- Extra large and distinct buttons.
- Pre-programmed for most frequent products.
- Can also be programmed from existing remote controls.
- Operated on x LR03/AAA batteries (not included).
Note!
- The remote control ts most models on the market however there is a
possibility that it might not t your particular device. Even if the model is
found in the code table.
- It is not possible to see in the code list if the remote control is suitable for
your device. You must try it out.
- The remote control can function on several codes. You have to try
nding the code which most of the button functions work on.
Getting started
Installation of batteries
The remote control operates on 3x AAA/LR03
batteries.
1. Remove the battery cover on the back.
. Insert the batteries according to the marking in
the battery compartment. Make sure that you
have placed the batteries in correct position with
plus (+) and minus (-) according to marking in
battery pocket.
3. Put back the battery cover.

Programming the remote control
Entering the device code
The digits in the code are given with the help of the remote control’s buttons
according to the table:
Button Corresponds to:
P (TV channel down) 0
P (TV channel up) 1
– (TV volume down)
+ (TV volume up) 3
1. Open the included Code list and look up under the heading for device
type which corresponds to your equipment.
TV Brands Codes for TV devices
SAT Brands Code for satellite and decoder
DVB-T Brands Codes for decoder for the terrestrial network
Under this heading you then search for the code which corresponds
to your brand, e.g. Philips. Each code has 6 digits. If there are several
device codes other than the one for your brand begin with the rst.
. Press TV and aim the remote control towards the device you want to
control while you press and hold in and – until the LED lights up.
3. Within 10 seconds, press in the 6 digit code for the device you want to
control. The LED turns immediately off.
Test the function of the remote control to the device which you have just
programmed. If the device responds correctly towards your button pressing
then you have entered the correct device code. If not, you should repeat the
procedure above with the other device codes which are available for your
brand until your device responds correctly to your button pressing and until
most of the buttons work correctly.
You also do the same thing to enter the device codes for the satellite receiv-
er (SAT) or the terrestrial decoder (DVB-T).
To do this you select which type of device to be controlled in step by press-
ing any of the buttons SAT or DVB-T instead of the TV button.

Remarks
- If the indicator light blinked 6 times during the programming the code
was not recognized again. Repeat the programme from step 1 and try
with the next code for your device.
- If no button is pressed within 10 seconds the programming must be
repeated from step 1.
- If none of the codes in the code list work for your particular device you
can also search through all the remote control’s codes for each device
type.
Tip!
When you have found the correct device code we recommend that you make
note of the code.
If no device code works for your device
If you do not nd the correct device code for your device you can search
through all the remote control’s codes for each particular device type.
TV – TV devices
SAT – Satellite receiver
DVB-T – Digital receiver
Searching for remote control’s codes
If you do not nd the right device code in the list you can search in the fol-
lowing way:
1. For example, turn on your TV manually or with the original remote
control.
. Aim the remote control towards the device you want to control while you
press and hold in and – until the LED lights up.
3. Enter the corresponding search code from the following table. The LED
turns off immediately after the entered search code.

. Aim the remote control again towards the device you want to control
while you press and hold in and – until the LED lights up.
5. Press repeatedly on any of the following buttons TV or SAT while at the
same time you aim the remote control towards the device. Every time
you press, the remote control sends a signal out to shut off the device.
When the device is shut off the correct code has been found.
6. Press and hold to save the code. The LED turns off.

Remarks
- Every time any of the TV or SAT buttons are pressed in step 5 the
remote control moves on to the next code and sends a signal out to shut
off.
- If, after you have pressed any of the TV or SAT button, the LED blinks 6
times the remote control has already moved on to the next code and the
search position has nished.
Learning functions from other remote controls
If you are missing certain functions from the original remote control you can
“teach” the universal remote control these functions from the original remote
control.
Besides controlling pre-programmed devices the universal remote control
can also control e.g. Hi-Fi equipment or air conditioning.
1. Press and hold in the SAT + together with TV/AV buttons at the same
time until the LED lights up.
. Aim the original remote control towards the IR eye on the universal
remote control with about 5 - 8 cm distance. Place the remote controls
on a level surface to give good contact between the remote controls.
Make sure to use new batteries in both of the remote controls.
3. Press quickly on the button you want to programme on the universal
control.
If no button is chosen within 10 seconds the LED blinks quickly 6 times
and the programming is interrupted.
. Press and hold in the corresponding button on the original remote
control.
5. Release the button on the original remote control when the LED blinks
once and has changed to a permanent light. The signal has now been
transferred.
If the LED blinks quickly 6 times the programming has not been
successful. Adjust the position of the remote controls in relationship to
each other and try again. If the receiving remote control does not want to
receive the code, hold in the button on the original remote control during
a longer period of time.
6. Repeat step 3 and to programme further functions.
When the programming is nished, press . The LED blinks 6 times and
the remote control is ready to be used.

Advanced learning of functions from other remote controls
If the learned functions only work every now and then, it means that the orig-
inal remote control contains double signals. Follow the instructions below.
1. Press and hold in the SAT + together with TV/AV buttons at the same
time until the LED lights up.
. Aim the original remote control towards the IR eye on the universal
remote control with about 5-8 cm distance. Place the remote controls on
a level surface to give good contact between the remote controls.
Make sure to use new batteries in both of the remote controls.
3. Press quickly on the button you want to programme on the universal
control. If no button is chosen within 10 seconds the LED blinks quickly 6
times and the programming is interrupted.
. Press and hold in the corresponding button on the original remote
control.
5. Release the button on the original remote control when the LED blinks
once and has changed to a permanent light. The signal has now been
transferred.
6. Press again quickly on the same button on the universal remote control
as in step 3.
7. Press and hold in the corresponding button on the original remote
control.
8. Release the button on the original remote control when the LED blinks
once and has changed to a permanent light. The signal has now been
transferred.
9. Repeat step 3 and 5 to programme further functions.
10. When the programming is nished, press . The LED turns off and the
remote control is ready to be used.
Note! When the remote control is programmed with a new device code all
the earlier programmed functions are replaced.
Use
Aim the remote control toward the device and press the desired button for
the desired function. The LEDs blink while sending to conrm the button
pressing.
Remarks. Certain TV devices can only be turned on through any of the but-
tons 0-9. As the universal remote control is missing these buttons you must
press P to turn on the TV, and the button TV to turn off the TV.

Care and Maintenance
- Do not expose the remote control to dust, strong sunshine, moisture,
bangs or high temperature.
- Never mix old and new batteries. The old ones can begin to leak and
ruin the device.
- Do not use corrosive or abrasive detergents on the remote control.
- Do not dissemble the remote control. It does not contain any
components which can be adjusted by the user.
Trouble Shooting Schedule
My remote control does not work at all.
- Check that the device which is to be controlled. If the mains supply is in
the OFF position, nothing works. Turn the switch to ON position.
- Check that the batteries are placed correctly with plus and minus poles
in the right direction. Change the batteries if they are weak.
- Check that you have pressed the right button for right device.
- Certain TV devices can only be turned on through any of the buttons 0-9.
As the universal remote control is missing these buttons you must press
P to turn on the TV, and the button TV to turn off the TV.
What do I do if there are several device codes for my device.
- Test the device codes one at a time until you nd the one which most of
the buttons function correctly on.
My equipment only responds to a few of the commands.
- You have programmed a code which only functions for some of the
commands but not for others. Try with other codes until most of the
buttons function.
The remote control does not work after changing batteries.
- The remote control may need to be reprogrammed. See section
Programming Remote Control.

- Fjärrkontrollen passar de esta märkena på marknaden men det är inte
säkert att den passar just din modell av apparat. Även om märket nns
med i kodlistan.
- Det går inte att se i kodlistan om fjärrkontrollen passar just din
apparatmodell, du måste prova dig fram.
- Fjärrkontrollen kan fungera på er koder än en. Man får prova sig fram
till den kod som de esta knappfunktionerna fungerar på.
Att komma igång
Installation av batterier
Fjärrkontrollen drivs med 3 st. LR03/AAA-batterier.
1. Ta bort batteriluckan på baksidan.
. Sätt i batterierna enligt märkningen i
batterifacket. Se till att vända batterierna rätt
med plus (+) och minus (-) enligt märkningen i
batterifacket.
3. Sätt tillbaka batteriluckan.

Programmering av fjärrkontrollen
Inknappning av apparatkod
Siffrorna i koden anges med hjälp fjärrkontrollens knappar enligt tabellen:

1. Slå upp den medföljande kodlistan (Code list) och leta under rubriken för
den apparattyp som din utrustning motsvarar:
TV Brands Koder för TV-apparater
SAT Brands Koder för satellit- och kabeltevemottagare
DVB-T Brands Koder för digitalmottagare för det markbundna nätet
Under denna rubrik letar du sedan efter den kod som motsvarar märket
på din apparat, t.ex. Philips. Varje kod har 6 siffror. Om det nns er
apparatkoder än en för ditt märke så börjar du med den första.
. Tryck på knappen ”TV” och rikta fjärrkontrollen mot den apparat du vill
styra samtidigt som du trycker och håller in knapparna och – tills
lysdioden tänds.
3. Inom 10 sekunder, knappa in den 6-siffriga koden för den apparat du vill
styra. Lysdioden ska nu slockna omedelbart.
Testa funktionen på fjärrkontrollen mot den apparat som du just programme-
rat. Om apparaten svarar korrekt på dina knapptryckningar så har du knap-
pat in rätt apparatkod. I annat fall får du upprepa proceduren ovan med de
övriga apparatkoder som står till förfogande för ditt fabrikat tills din apparat
reagerar på rätt sätt på dina knapptryckningar och tills de esta knapparna
fungerar korrekt.
Du gör även på samma sätt för att knappa in apparatkoderna för satellitmot-
tagare (SAT) eller marksända digitalboxar (DVB-T).
För att göra detta väljer du i steg vilken typ av apparat som ska styras
genom att trycka på någon av knapparna ”SAT” eller ”DVB-T” istället för
knappen ”TV”.
