Spy Ghost WiFi with Camera

Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product and save it for
future reference. We reserve the right for any errors in text or images and any necessary
changes made to technical data. If you have any questions regarding technical problems
please contact our Customer Services.
Important details:
• Other wireless equipment using the same frequency can reduce
the transmission range.
• The range of all wireless equipment depends on the type of obstacles located
between the transmitter and the receiver (e.g. a concrete wall will interfere with
the signal more than a plasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try the following:
• Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to check if this is the cause of
the problem.
• Move any other existing wireless equipment. Shorten the distance between
the sending and receiving devices and reduce the number of obstacles
(walls, furniture, etc) between them.
Safety
• Do not operate the car in extremely cold or warm environments. Do not operate
the car in damp or dusty environments.
• Do not expose the car to prolonged sunlight, rain or naked flames.
• Only operate the car on hard, flat surfaces. Never attempt to operate the car on
thick carpeting or other soft material.
Product description
• WiFi-enabled RC car which can be controlled from a smartphone or web tablet.
• Camera for still-image or video film capture.
• The car can be controlled in two ways:
- Using the gyro sensors: Steer the car by turning and tilting your phone/tablet
and view the image from the camera on your device’s display screen.
Note: The smartphone/web tablet must have a built-in gyro control function in
order for this method of control.
- Using touch control: Steer the car using the touchscreen controls.

Buttons and functions
1. Blue LEDs: Come on when the car drives forwards.
2. Blue signal indicator LED: Flashes when the car is scanning for a WiFi device.
Shines steadily when contact has been established.
3. Green charge indicator LED: Shines steadily during charging.
Goes off when the battery is fully charged.

Charging
• First make sure that the car is switched off (the blue indicator LED is off).
• The car is charged via a normal USB port. Plug the connector on the charger cable
into the charging socket (8) on the car and plug the USB connector into a USB
port on a computer or USB charger. (A computer/USB charger is not included).
• The green charge indicator LED will come on. The indicator will extinguish when
the battery is fully charged (charging time about 80–90 mins).

Operating instructions
Linking with a smartphone, web tablet, etc.
1. Acquire and install the iConSpy app from App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Android).
2. Switch the car on by holding in the on/off button (4) for 3 seconds. Check that
the blue signal indicator LED is flashing.
3. Switch on WiFi on your device. The car will appear in the list of wireless network
options as either “Woddon” or “iConSpy”.
4. Select either Woddon or iConSpy as
the wireless network.
5. Open the iConSpy app and select Play.
6. When you have finished driving
the car, switch it off by holding in
the on/off button (4) for 3 seconds.
Note:
• The blue signal indicator LED should shine steadily when a link has been established.
• If the signal is lost whilst driving, check that the WiFi link between your
smartphone or web tablet and the car has not been broken.
• In order to re-establish contact: Select either Woddon or iConSpy as
the wireless network. Restart the app. Select Play.

Photographing/Filming
Note: If you have an Apple product, iConSpy must be switched on under
Location Services in order to enable photography and filming.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Location Services.
3. Switch on iConSpy.

• Whilst driving, you can see the camera image all the time.
• Choose whether you want to take a picture or film using the selector switch (d).
• In photo mode, press the camera symbol (e) once take a picture.
• In film mode, press to start filming. Press the symbol once again to stop filming.
• Press the picture symbol (c) to enter the media page and view pictures and films.
• Choose which picture or film you wish to view.
• Press the arrow symbol or the IconSpy symbol to exit the media page.
Note: Pictures and films are saved in the same location in your handheld device that
you normally save pictures and films. You can manage and delete the pictures and
films in the same way as you normally do in your device.
Care and maintenance
Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Troubleshooting guide
The car does not appear as
Woddon or iConSpy in
the list of wireless networks.
• Make sure that the car is switched on
(that the blue indicator LED is flashing).
• Make sure that the car and the handheld device
are not too far apart.

Tänk på att:

räckvidden negativt.
• Räckvidden på all trådlös utrustning påverkas av vilka hinder som finns mellan
sändaren och mottagaren (t.ex. en betongvägg dämpar signalen avsevärt mer
än en gipsvägg).
Vid funktionsproblem, prova följande lösningar:
• Stäng av övriga befintliga trådlösa utrustningar för att kontrollera om de kan vara
orsaken till problemet.
• Flytta den trådlösa utrustningen och/eller förkorta avståndet, samt minska antalet
hinder (väggar, möbler etc.) mellan sändaren och mottagaren.
Säkerhet
• Använd inte bilen i extremt varma eller kalla miljöer. Använd den inte heller i fuktiga
eller dammiga utrymmen.
• Utsätt inte bilen för ihållande solljus, regn eller öppen eld.
• Använd endast bilen på hårda, plana ytor. Försök aldrig köra på tjocka mattor eller
andra mjuka material.
Produktbeskrivning
• Bil som via WiFi enkelt kopplas till smartphone eller surfplatta.
• Kamera för stillbild och filminspelning.
• Bilen kan köras på två sätt:
- Med gyrofunktion: Kör bilen genom att vrida och luta telefonen/surfplattan och
se bilden från kameran direkt på skärmen. Obs! Telefonen/surfplattan måste ha
inbyggd gyrofunktion för att funktionen ska fungera.
- Med touchkontroller: Kör bilen med touchkontrollerna som visas på skärmen.

Knappar och funktioner
1. Blå LED-lampor: Lyser när bilen körs framåt.
2. Blå LED-indikator: Blinkar när bilen söker efter WiFi-enhet.
Lyser med fast sken när kontakt upprättats.
3. Grön LED-indiktor: Lyser med fast sken under laddning.
Släcks när batteriet är fulladdat.

Laddning
• Kontrollera att bilen är avstängd (den blå LED-indikatorn är släckt).
• Bilen laddas enkelt via ett vanligt USB-uttag. Anslut laddkabelns propp till
anslutningen på bilen (8) och anslut kabelns USB-kontakt till en dator,
USB-laddare etc. (medföljer ej).
• Den gröna laddindikatorn tänds. Indikatorn släcks när batteriet är fulladdat
(laddtid ca 80–90 minuter).
