LÖSEN DER VORSPANNUNG
Falls Ihr Tragarm mit Vorspannung, also in horizontaler Position mit fest-
gestelltem Hebel geliefert wird, muss der Feststellhebel vor Beginn der
Montage gelöst werden. Zum gefahrlosen Entspannen den Tragarm mit
einer Hand mittig am Aluminiumteil festhalten und mit der anderen Hand
den Feststellhebel entriegeln. Der Tragarm entspannt sich und geht in die
oberste Montageposition.

MONTAGESCHRITTE
1. Entfernen Sie die Aluminiumabdeckung mit Hilfe eines Schlitz-
schraubendrehers.
2. Führen Sie alle Kabel durch das hintere Schwenklager und drehen Sie
anschließend die Konsole um 180° nach Hinten.
ACHTUNG: Drücken Sie die Kabel ganz ans hintere Ende des hin-
teren Dreh-/ Neigelagers, um die Kabel beim Verdrehen
nicht einzuklemmen.

RELEASING THE LOCKING LEVER
If your support arm is delivered with the locking lever engaged holding the
support arm in a horizontal position you have to release the pretention be-
fore the installation. Hold the support arm at the middle of the aluminium
part with one hand and disengage locking lever with the other hand. This
ensures an upward movement in a slow and even tempo and brings the
support arm into the highest mounting position.

ASSEMBLY STEPS
1. Remove aluminium prole by using a slot head screwdriver.
2. Feed the cables one after the other trough the rear swivel part and turn
afterwards the console by 180°.
WARNING: Push the cables all the way to the back of the rear
swivel part in order to avoid cable pinching when turn-
ing the tilt to the head.

3. Montieren Sie zuerst den Adapter am Tragarm. Die Abbildung zeigt
einen Adapter zur Aufnahme am CIM Wandkanal. Bitte beachten Sie
die Montageanleitung der jeweiligen Anbindung. Installieren Sie nun
den Tragarm mit Adapter an der vorgesehenen Stelle (Wandkanal,
Rundrohr, Normschiene etc.).

4. Bringen Sie den Tragarm in eine horizontale Position und sichern Sie
diese durch den Feststellhebel.
5. Führen Sie die Kabel weiter durch den festgestellten Tragarm.
HINWEIS: Je nach Steckergröße kann es erforderlich sein, die
Position des Tragarmes unter Verwendung des Fest-
stellhebels leicht anzupassen.
HINWEIS: Bei mehreren Kabeln immer das Kabel mit dem größten
Stecker zuerst durchführen.

3. Mount the adapter to the support arm. The illustration shows a
wall channel adapter. Please refer to the corresponding assembly
instruction for all other adapters. Now mount the support arm to its
designated place (wall channel, tube, DIN rail etc.).
4. Bring the support arm in a horizontal position and secure it by
engaging the locking lever.
5. Feed the cable through the support arm.
NOTE: Depending on the plug size, it may be necessary to adjust
the position of the support arm slightly using the locking
lever.
NOTE: Always start with the largest cable rst if you have multiple
cables to thread through the support arm.

6. Bring the support arm to a lower position (approx. 30°) and feed the
cable through the front swivel part.
NOTE: Always start with the largest cable rst if you have multiple
cables.
7. Bring the support arm to its highest position.

From this point there are two options for cable exits.
OPTION A: through the front swivel part (illustration 8.A) or
OPTION B: underneath the front swivel part (illustration 8.B).
Option A is suitable for 1 - 4 cables depending on the wire cross section.
Option B is recommended for easier cabling with 3 or multiple cables.

6. Bringen Sie den Tragarm in eine untere Position (ca. 30°) und führen
Sie die Kabel von unten durch das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager.
HINWEIS: Bei mehreren Kabeln immer das Kabel mit dem größten
Stecker zuerst durchführen.
7. Bringen Sie den Tragarm wieder in die oberste Position.

Ab dieser Stelle haben Sie zwei Möglichkeiten die Kabel herauszuführen:
OPTION A: durch das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager (Abb. 8.A) oder
OPTION B: unterhalb des vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelagers (Abb. 8.B).
Option A ist je nach Kabelquerschnitt bei der Verwendung von 1 - 4 Kabeln
möglich.
Option B ist aufgrund der einfacheren Verkabelung bei 3 oder mehr Kabeln
zu empfehlen.

VERWENDUNG VON 1 - 4 KABELN, JE NACH KABELQUERSCHNITT
8.1 Drehen Sie das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager um 180°, bis die Ausspa-
rungen übereinander stehen. Je nach Ausführung muss hierfür die
Monitoraufnahme in eine horizontale Position gebracht werden.
8.2 Legen Sie die Kabel wie dargestellt in die Aussparung.
ACHTUNG: Drücken Sie die Kabel ans hintere Ende des vorderen Dreh-
/ Neigelagers, um die Kabel beim anschließenden Verdre-
hen nicht einzuklemmen.
8.3 Schieben Sie die Kunststoffabdeckungen ein.
8.4 Montieren Sie den Deckel des vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelager mittels der
(2) M5x20 Schrauben. Ziehen Sie beide Schrauben fest.
8.5 Drehen Sie das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager wieder in die Ausgangsposi-
tion zurück (Ausnahme: Philips Zapfenadapter). Klipsen Sie die Kunst-
stoffabdeckung am Kabelauslass ein.

SUITABLE FOR 1 - 4 CABLES, DEPENDING ON THE WIRE CROSS SECTION
8.1 Rotate the front swivel part 180° towards the rear end of the support
arm, so that the two cutaways line up. Vertical monitor adaptations
have to be positioned horizontally.
8.2 Push the cables into the front swivel part as shown.
WARNING: Push the cables all the way to the back of the front swivel
part in order to avoid cable pinching when turning the tilt
to the head.
8.3 Attach the little plastic cover.
8.4 Mount the top cover to the front swivel part by using the (2) M5x20
screws. Screw both securely.
8.5 Turn the front swivel part back to the starting position (except the
Philips table top mount). Attache the cable cover.

8.1 Drehen Sie das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager um 180°, bis die Aussparun-
gen übereinander stehen. Je nach Ausführung muss hierfür die Moni-
toraufnahme in eine horizontale Position gebracht werden.
8.2 Führen Sie die Kabel von oben durch die Öffnung nach unten.
8.3 Schieben Sie die Kunststoffabdeckungen ein.
8.4 Montieren Sie den Deckel des vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelager mittels der
(2) M5x20 Schrauben. Ziehen Sie beide Schrauben fest.
8.5 Drehen Sie das vordere Dreh-/ Neigelager wieder in die Ausgangsposi-
tion zurück (Ausnahme: Philips Zapfenadapter). Klipsen Sie die Kunst-
stoffabdeckung am Kabelauslass ein.

EASY CABELING FOR MORE THAN 3 CABLES
8.1 Rotate the front swivel part 180° towards the rear end of the support

9. Bringen Sie den Tragarm in die unterste Position.
ACHTUNG: Sobald sich der Tragarm in der untersten Position bendet,
muss der Feststellhebel verriegelt werden.
10. Schieben Sie die Kunststoffabdeckung ein und legen Sie den Deckel
auf das hintere Schwenklager.

11. Bringen Sie den Tragarm in die oberste Position, bevor Sie den Deckel
des hinteren Schwenklagers mittels der (2) M5x20 Schrauben montie-
ren. Ziehen Sie beide Schrauben fest.
12. Stellen Sie zunächst sicher, dass die Kabel entlang des dafür vorge-
sehenen Kanals verlaufen.

9. Move the support arm to its lowest position.
WARNING: As soon as the support arm is in its lowest position the
locking lever has to be engaged.
10. Attach the little plastic cover and place the top cover onto the rear
swivel part.

11. Move the support arm to its highest position. Mount the top cover to
the rear swivel part using the (2) M5x20 screws. Screw both securely.
12. Make sure that the cables are placed along the intended cable channel.

13. Klipsen Sie anschließend die Aluminiumabdeckung in das Prol des
Tragarmes ein.
ACHTUNG: Um die Aluminiumabdeckung montieren zu können, müs-
sen die Kabel in dem dafür vorgesehenen Kanal verlaufen
(siehe Schritt 12)

OPTION A:
14.1 Montieren Sie den Kunststoffdeckel am vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelager
mittels der (4) M4x8 Linsenskopfschrauben. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben
fest.
14.2 Verschrauben Sie anschließend die beiden Kunststoffdeckel am
hinteren Schwenklager mit den (8) M4x8 Linsenskopfschrauben.
Ziehen Sie die Schrauben fest.

13. Clip the aluminium cover into the support arm.
WARNING: To mount the aluminium cover, the cables have to be
placed along the cable channel (see step 12)

14.1 Mount the plastic cover cap to the front swivel part by using (4) M4x8
rounded head screws. Screw them securely.
14.2 Mount the two plastic cover caps to the rear swivel part by using (8)
M4x8 rounded head screws and screw all securely.

OPTION B:
14.1 Montieren Sie den Kunststoffdeckel am vorderen Dreh-/ Neigelager
mittels der (4) M4x8 Linsenskopfschrauben. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben
fest.
ACHTUNG: Der Kunststoffdeckel weist eine Sollbruchstelle auf, um
einen Kabelauslass zu generieren (nur bei Option B vor-
handen).
14.2 Verschrauben Sie anschließend die beiden Kunststoffdeckel am
hinteren Schwenklager mit den (8) M4x8 Linsenskopfschrauben.
Ziehen Sie die Schrauben fest.

15. Montieren Sie das ME-Gerät an der vorgesehenen Monitoraufnahme.
Die Abbildung zeigt eine VESA-Platte. Bitte beachten Sie die Montage-
anleitung der jeweiligen Monitoraufnahme.

WARNING: The plastic cover cap offers a snap-out section for cables
(only required for option B).
