General information
• Do not install the device in areas with a cubic capacity of less than
58m3/ 2.049ft3(22m2/ 240ft2 with a height of 2.6m / 8.53ft).
• Net weight: 11kg.
• While installing the device according to the instruction manual local
and national guidelines are to be observed.
• The device must be placed on a level surface.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation slots and/or ventilators.
• No items are recommended to be placed on the unit except the log set
provided by the manufacturer.
• Do not install the device in areas where there are large draughts drafts
of air, near fans, vents, etc.
• Do not place in areas where there might be a potentially explosive
atmosphere of paint vapours, industrial dusts, etc.
• No ammable items should be placed in direct contact or within
a radius of 1m / 3.28ft of the device. Do not place near curtains, net
curtains, etc.
• Do not expose the device to external weather conditions. The device is
for indoor use only.
• Do not place the device in close proximity to sources of humidity.
• It is obligatory to have a carbon-dioxide (CO2) or dry chemical
extinguisher placed nearby the device.
• Installation of the device must allow for easy removal of the device for
servicing.
• The room in which the device is to be installed must have sufcient
ventilation to ensure air exchange in the room at least once per hour.
• Do not start the device before a full installation has been completed.
• Do not ll the fuel container before placing the device in its nal
position.

INSTALLATION
• After opening the packaging box leave the device inside the box for
approx. 2 hours until it reaches room temperature. During this time
familiarize yourself with the user’s and installation manuals.
• The device is specially made to t Chesney’s 22” Fire Basket.
• The elements of construction above the device must be made of
non-ammable materials.
• A loose cable min. 3 x 0.75 mm2, with power supply 230 V, 50 Hz, must
be provided to connect the device to the mains.
• The device can be wired directly into a fused spur or alternatively a
standard 3 pin 13 amp mains plug can be tted (not supplied).
• If there is going to be a cover over the device, it must be made of
non-ammable materials and the minimum distance from the device
must be kept - not less than 35cm / 13 3/4”.
For reasons of safety, under no circumstances can there be
any ammable material within a 1m radius from the replace.
Also, the manufacturer does not recommend positioning any
heat sensitive materials or devices above the replace as it
can signicantly limit the materials properties and lifetime.
The manufacturer will not bear any responsibility for the
damage to heat sensitive materials or devices installed above
the replace.

Installation with supports:
Make a cavity for the insert. Make sure that the base on which the
device is to be placed is level, as later it will not be possible to level the
replace. The difference in level between the ends of the device must not
exceed 2mm. Poor levelling may cause abnormal operation of the device
and, in extreme cases, it can cause leaks of the bio-ethanol fuel resulting
in the danger of re.
Fix the supports (B) to the bottom cover of the replace.

Then connect the supplied cable with a connection block at the end of
the cord. Note that connection to the mains must be made by a qualied
electrician. When the device has been connected to the mains it can be
placed in the re basket.

Installing with EFB22 Log Set (optional, sold separately):
If installing the unit with the optional log set (sold separately), use the
shorter supports (H) supplied as part of the log set kit.

ATTENTION !!!
• Make sure that the device has been correctly installed and read the
following instruction manual.
• You must not ll the fuel tank or start the device before having read the
instruction manual.
• If in the future it is necessary to move the device, wait until the fuel has
burned-up completely and the display shows , disconnect the power
supply and only then is it safe to move the device.
• Keep this instruction manual throughout the lifetime of the device.
• Locating pins on the metal top plate will ensure that each log sits in the
correct position.
• Logs must only be handled using the gloves provided.
• IMPORTANT: Logs MUST be placed onto the metal top plate in the
following order: C - B - A - F - E - G - D, see diagram below:
