2 Mausuntergrund
Eine helle, strukturierte Fläche als
Mausuntergrund steigert die Effektivität der
Maus, spart Energie und gewährleistet eine
optimale Bewegungserkennung.
Eine spiegelnde Fläche ist als
Mausuntergrund nicht geeignet.
3LED
Abhängig von der Applikation zeigt die LED,
wann der Finger auf den Sensor gelegt
werden kann.
4 Reinigung der Maus
1 Reinigen Sie die Maus mit einem leicht
feuchten Tuch und etwas mildem Reini-
gungsmittel (z. B. Geschirrspülmittel).
2 Trocknen Sie die Maus mit einem
fusselfreien, weichen Tuch.
VORSICHT: Beschädigung durch
aggressive Reinigungsmittel
oder Flüssigkeit in der Maus
• Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine
Lösungsmittel wie Benzin oder Alkohol
und keine Scheuermittel oder
Scheuerschwämme.
• Verhindern Sie, dass Flüssigkeit in die
Maus gelangt.

5 Desinfektion
Sollte aus hygienischen Gründen der Einsatz
von alkoholischen Desinfektionsmitteln
notwendig sein, können Sie zur Reinigung
und Desinfektion der Maus und des
Fingerabdruck-Sensors Isopropylalkohol
(IPA) verwenden. Dies kann zu optischen
Veränderungen der Oberfläche führen. Die
Funktion der Maus und des Sensors wird
durch den sachgemäßen Einsatz von
alkoholischen Desinfektionsmitteln
allerdings nicht beeinträchtigt.
Bei intensiver Reinigung des Gehäuses mit
alkoholischen Desinfektionsmitteln über
einen längeren Zeitraum kann auch eine
Schädigung des Kunststoffes auftreten.
6 RSI-Syndrom
"Repetitive Strain Injury" =
"Verletzung durch wiederholte
Beanspruchung". RSI entsteht
durch kleine, sich ständig
wiederholende Bewegungen.
Typische Symptome sind Beschwerden in
den Fingern oder im Nacken.
• Richten Sie Ihren Arbeitsplatz
ergonomisch ein.
• Positionieren Sie Tastatur und Maus so,
dass sich Ihre Oberarme und
Handgelenke seitlich vom Körper
befinden und ausgestreckt sind.
• Machen Sie mehrere kleine Pausen, ggf.
mit Dehnübungen.
• Ändern Sie oft Ihre Körperhaltung.

2 Surface under the mouse
A bright, structured surface under the mouse
saves energy, increases effectiveness and
ensures optimum motion detection.
A reflective surface is not suitable for using
the mouse on.
3LED
Depending on the application, the LED shows
you when to put your finger on the sensor.
4 Cleaning the mouse
CAUTION: Damage may be
caused by harsh cleaning agents
or liquids in the mouse
• Do not use solvents such as gasoline or
alcohol and scouring agents or scouring
sponges for cleaning.
• Prevent liquids from entering the mouse.
1 Clean the mouse with a slightly damp cloth
and some mild cleaning agent (e.g.
dishwashing liquid).
2 Dry off the mouse with a soft, lint-free
cloth.
5 Disinfection
Should it be necessary to use alcoholic
disinfectant for hygienic reasons, you can use
isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to clean and disinfect
the mouse and the fingerprint sensor. This
can cause the appearance of the surface to
change. However, the operation of the mouse
and the sensor will not be affected by the
correct use of alcoholic disinfectant.
Intensive cleaning of the housing with
alcoholic disinfectant over a long period can
also damage the plastic.

6 RSI syndrome
RSI stands for "Repetitive Strain
Injury". RSI arises due to small
movements continuously
repeated over a long period of
time.
Typical symptoms are discomfort in the
fingers or neck.
• Set up your workspace ergonomically.
• Position the keyboard and mouse in such
a manner that your upper arms and
wrists are outstretched and to the sides
of your body.
• Take several short breaks, with
stretching exercises if necessary.
• Change your posture often.
7 Disposal
Dispose of the used device at an
official collection point for electronic
waste or at your local dealer.
