IT IS IMPORTANT TO READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL OF THE
INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFEGUARDS PRIOR TO USE
• The digital scale must be kept stable for accurate weighing.
• DO NOT drop, shake or overload the digital scale.
• Place items to be weighed onto the digital scale with care. Although the scale
is designed to endure rough treatment, misuse may permanently damage the
internal sensor.
• The weight of the item should not exceed the capacity of the scale (330 lbs./150
kgs.). Overloading the digital scale may cause damage.
• Items should be placed on the center of the digital scale when being weighed.
• The digital scale should be kept free of dust, dirt, moisture, and vibration
and not in close proximity to other electronic equipment. Any or all of these
contaminants may cause an adverse eect on the reliability and accuracy of
the scale.
• If “ERR” appears on the display, then the item’s weight has exceeded the
maximum capacity of the scale. Remove the item immediately. Overloading
can permanently damage the digital scale.
• Store the digital scale in a cool dry place. DO NOT expose the scale to moisture.
• Avoid lengthy exposure to extreme heat or cold.
• DO NOT allow items to sit on scale platform for an extended amount of time.
Doing so may have an adverse eect on the longevity and accuracy of the
digital scale.
• NEVER store the digital scale on its side. ALWAYS place the scale on a flat,
stable surface.
• NEVER place or store anything directly on top of the digital scale for long
periods of time, as this can have an adverse eect on the longevity and
accuracy of the scale.
• Clean the scale with a damp cloth and mild detergent and dry thoroughly
before storing. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, damage to the surface of the
scale may occur.
• NEVER immerse the digital scale, display, or cord in water or other liquids.
• Failure to follow these directions and precautions will result in damage to your
scale and will void the warranty.
