2 - INTENDED USE
The M202 pressure regulator is used on agricultural sprayers to adjust pressure and maintain it constant during spraying. It has been
designed for modular (patented) use with M200 series valves, using the available accessories. It can be interfaced with the most
common electrical and electronic control systems for sprayers. Maximum operating pressure is 40 bar. In the event that pressure rises
above the permissible threshold or if pressure surges occur, the device automatically exhausts excessive pressure in the tank.
3 - INSTALLATION AND PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
ATTENTION: check the suction system of the pump. It is essential to check tightness of fittings, ring nuts and clamps
along the line between the suction filter and the pump. In the event of wear, all O-rings must be replaced and greased.
After cleaning the filter cartridge, check tightness of the suction filter.
The discharge duct of the regulator must supply at least 15 l/min. in order to guarantee constant pressure within
10% of the value set.
Braglia Srl cannot be held liable for direct or consequential damage arising out of use of its products with improperly employed
solutions. Chemicals must be used under the sole responsibility of the operator that must therefore take account of all safety information
provided by the manufacturer on the package containing the active ingredient. The operator must also wear suitable personal protective
equipment, as envisaged by the laws in force. Braglia Srl cannot be held liable for accidents or damage to people, animals and property
arising of the improper use of these substances with its products.
The M202 regulator must be connected to the delivery circuit of the system.
Before installation, make sure the regulator is suited to the intended use and to the specification requirements (check data on
the nameplate and the specifications in this document and in our general catalogue).
The components and piping used on the delivery line must have a sufficient size to guarantee the resistance and flow rate
required by the intended use.
No foreign matters must be allowed to enter the regulator during handling and installation (e.g. fragments of metal or plastic,
dirt, pieces of PTFE tape or adhesives used on fittings, etc.).
When installing the device, make sure there is enough clearance to allow for the maintenance and replacement of worn or
damaged parts.
For installation, you can use the two M8 holes on the 401.218.16 body.
Before providing the electrical connection of the regulator, make sure voltage is 12 VDC and that a 5A protection
fuse is installed.
Use only the cables and wiring supplied with Braglia Srl control devices.
Never damage, pull or modify the wiring supplied as these operations will invalidate any warranty provided.
For correct operation of the valves connected to the control devices (M200 control kit), refer to the wiring diagram of the
control device.
Electrical connections and their activation must be entrusted to qualified personnel.
If the regulator is accidentally dropped or if impact occurs, make sure it is in working order before reusing it.
Preliminary operations for commissioning and final testing of the sprayer, if necessary, MUST be performed using clean water
ONLY.
Check tightness of the fittings and correct connection of the power supply and control cables.
