I - DESCRIPTION

Les lecteurs enregistreurs MP3, GD 3301 et

GD 3302, sont équipés d’une entrée préam-

plificateur M C/AUX avec détection de modu-

lation, d’une sortie directe lecteur numérique

et d’une sortie du préamplicateur prioritaire

ou mélangé à la musique et sortie télécom-

mande.

Ces appareils, au format 2U 19” (Fig. ), peu-

vent être intégrés dans une baie en installant

les poignées AZ 7, en option (Fig. ).

Le GD 3302 possède une interface de 8 télé-

commandes gérée par microcontroleur pour

le déclenchement de message et de musique

à distance (voir chapitre V ).

I - DESCRIPTION

These 2 products are fitted with a preamplifier

input M C/AUX with modulation detection, a

direct output for the digital player, an output

from the priority preamplifier or mixing with

music and remote control output.

These products; in the 19” size (Fig. ), may be

included in a rack by installing the AZ 7

handles, optionally (Fig. )

The GD 3302 has an interface with 8 remote

controls managed by a microcontroller for acti-

vate the message or the music remotely.

en entrée M C/AUX et de la télécommande générée par la détection

de modulation.

This balanced preamplifier output is fitted with a transformer and allows

a long distance link and with good quality to an amplifier terminal strip.

On the pin 4 of the D N socket, there is the remote control received on

the M C/AUX input of the remote control generated by the modulation

detection.

niveau de sortie source est réglable en ⑤(Fig. ).

OUCHE MODE 25 (Fig. V )

L’appui sur la touche MODE suivi de l’appui sur les touches inscrites en

rouge sur le lecteur permet d’accéder à des fonctions spécifiques. Toutes

les fonctions ci-dessous ne peuvent être rendues opérationnelles que si au

préalable on a activé la fonction MODE.

1.1 - Touche MODE puis touche L NE N

Pour enregistrer un message ou de la musique en mode VOC, il faut

impérativement activer cette fonction et avoir l’inscription

“L NE N”

sur

l’afficheur sinon l’enregistrement ne s’effectue pas.

1.2 - Touche MODE puis touche EQ

Fonction EQUAL SEUR. En appuyant sur cette touche, on peut choisir un

mode d’ équalisation parmi Normale , Pop, Rock ou Jazz (la fonction

Normale n’apparaît pas sur l’afficheur).

1.3 - Touche MODE puis Touche VOC/MP3

Appuyer une fois sur la touche

pour valider la fonction VOC servant à

lire ou enregistrer les messages ou la musique via les connecteurs

d’entrée du GD 3301. Appuyer deux fois sur la touche

pour valider la

fonction MP3 servant à lire ou télécharger des fichiers MP3 de

l’ordinateur vers le lecteur via le connecteur USB.

1.4 - Touche MODE puis Touche DEL

Lorsque vous pressez cette touche, l’afficheur indique “DEL”, vous devez

alors presser à nouveau la touche pour confirmer l’effacement de la piste.

L’afficheur indique alors “DELETE” jusqu’à l’effacement total de la piste.

1.5 - Touche MODE puis Touche STOP

Permet de sélectionner le répertoire de lecture, mémoire FLASH ou

carte SD.

2. EN REES/SOR IES(Fig. V )

2.1- Sortie EAR : pour casque d’écoute ⑱.

En cas d’utilisation d’une carte SD 1 Go (environ 16 heures de musique),

on ne pourra pas enregistrer sur une même piste une durée supérieure à

9h 59mn 59s (9 : 59 : 59 sur afficheur).

En cas d’utilisation d’une carte SD 512 Mo, la durée d’enregistrement est

de 8 heures.

2.4 - M C N : Le lecteur MP3 est équipé de 2 entrées jack microphone

22 et 24 .

- Microphone mono pour l'entrée

- Microphone stéréo pour les entrées

22 et 24

couplées.

Le réglage de niveau de ces microphones se fait avec le potentiomètre

de volume microphone

- La sortie M C/AUX reçoit en mélange la modulation du lecteur MP3.

Le réglage de volume de cette sortie s’effectue avec le bouton ④(Fig. ).

Le niveau de la musique est ajustable de 0 (pas de musique) à max, avec

le sélecteur ③. La musique est coupée par l’activation de la télécom-

mande de l’entrée M C/AUX et/ou par la détection de modulation de

cette entrée.

This balanced electronic output should be connected to the input of a

booster amplifier. Memory readers use modulation detection to

generate a remote control signal.

This output can be used independently of the M C/Aux output. The

source output level is adjustable using button⑤(Fig. ).

1. HE MODE BU ON 25 (Fig. V )

A number of special features can be accessed by pressing the MODE

button followed by any of the buttons highlighted in red on the player. To

access any of the features listed below, the MODE button first needs to

be pressed.

1.1 - MODE + ‘L NE N’

To record a message or music in VOC mode, this feature must first be

enabled and the message “L NE N” displayed on the LCD for the recor-

ding to work.

1.2 - MODE + ‘EQ’

The EQUAL SER function allows any of four types of listening expe-

riences to be accessed during playback: Normal, Pop, Rock or Jazz

(only Normal is not displayed on the LCD).

1.3 - MODE + ‘VOC/MP3’

Press once on button 29 to select the VOC feature and to listen to or

record messages or music using the GD 3301’s input connectors.

Press button 29 twice to select the MP3 setting to listen to or load

MP3 files from a computer onto the player via the USB cable.

1.4 - MODE + DEL

Pressing this button will cause the LCD to display “DEL”. To confirm

deletion of the current track, press this button once more. The display

will then display “DELETE” until the track has been completely erased.

1.5 - MODE + STOP

Use this button to choose between playing back the contents of the SD

card or the Flash memory.

When using a 1 GB SD card (which provides approximately 16hours

of music), it is not possible to record for longer than 9hours

59minutes and 59seconds (9hrs 59’ 59” or 9 : 59 : 59 on the display)

on the same track. A 512 MB SD card on the other hand can record

up to 8 hours.

2.4 - M C N : The MP3 player comes complete with two microphone

jack inputs 22 and 24 .

Use a mono microphone in input 22

Use inputs 22

and

24 coupled together for stereo microphone

recordings. Use the microphone volume control 21 to set the recor-

ding volume levels of the microphones.

- The output Mic/Aux receives a mixture of music modulation

CD/Tuner. Setting the volume for this output is made with key ④

(Fig. ).

The level of music is adjustable using the attenuator switch ③. Music

is cut by activating the remote control in input Mic/Aux and/or by

detecting the input modulation.

3. ENREG STREMENT (Fig. V )

- Les enregistrements à partir d’un signal analogique doivent être fait en

mode “Voc”.

- Avec microphone équipé d’une fiche Jack 6.35: Microphone Mono

connecté en 22 ou avec microphone Stéréo en 24 . Le niveau

d’enregistrement est réglable avec le bouton 21 .

- Avec microphone symétrique équipé d’une fiche D N ou XLR en face

arrière connecté en ⑨ou fig V. Relâcher le bouton poussoir ⑩. Le

niveau d ‘enregistrement est réglable avec le bouton ④en face avant

(réglage au 2/3 de la course).

- Avec un signal Auxiliaire (-10 dBu à 0 dBu) entrant en D N ou XLR en

face arrière, appuyer le bouton poussoir ⑩. Le niveau d’enregistrement

est réglable avec le bouton ④en face avant (réglage au 2/3 de la cour-

se)

- l est possible de télécharger depuis un ordinateur, voir Téléchargement

ci dessous.

- Si une carte SD est insérée, choisir le support d’enregistrement avec la

touche Mode + la touche Stop F C .

Affichage : “F0:00:00” = enregistrement de la mémoire Flash

Affichage : “C0 :00 :00” = enregistrement carte SD

- Sélectionner le mode VOC : Appuyer la touches Mode puis la touche

VOC/MP3 : “VOC” s’affiche.

- Sélectionner le N° de plage : touches 32 ou 33 ,- le N° s’affiche -. Vérifier

que ce N° de plage est vierge, le compteur doit indiquer 0:00:00. Sinon

effacer, voir Effacement ci dessous.

- Pour commencer l’enregistrement : Appuyer la touche REC, un point

noir sur l’afficheur clignote 3 fois, puis l’enregistrement commence, le

compteur indique la durée de l’enregistrement.

Pour arrêter l’enregistrement appuyer la touche Stop.

4. TELECHARGEMENT

- Le téléchargement à partir d’un ordinateur doit être fait avec des fichiers

MP3, l’enregistreur doit être configuré en mode MP3 avec les touches

Mode puis

VOC/MP3 : “MP3” s’affiche.

- Connecter le lecteur à l’ordinateur avec le cordon USB fourni. l n’est pas

nécessaire d’alimenter le lecteur au secteur pour télécharger; le câble

USB fourni l’alimentation.

- Sous Explorateur Windows, l’ordinateur reconnaîtra un nouveau support

de stockage.

Ensuite il est possible de charger ou supprimer des fichier MP3 sur la

mémoire Flash ou sur la carte SD.

- Remarque :

La lecture des 2 répertoires “VOC” et “MP3” ne peut pas être enchaînés

automatiquement. Si on souhaite créer un message, composé d'un enre-

gistrement microphone (répertoire “VOC”) suivi d'un programme musical

(répertoire “MP3”), il faut télécharger les fichiers musicaux MP3 de

l’ordinateur dans le répertoire ”VOC” du lecteur.

Pour cela, sur le PC ,on doit renommer les fichiers MP3 comme suit :

M_ NT_xx pour télécharger sur la mémoire Flash

M_EXT_xx pour télécharger sur la mémoire SD

NB : xx défini le numéro de piste de stockage (ex :03 pour la piste 03)

5. LECTURE (Fig. V )

- Si une carte SD est insérée, choisir le support de lecture avec la touche

Mode + la touche Stop F C .

Affichage : " F0:00:00" = lecture de la mémoire Flash

Affichage : "C0 :00 :00" = lecture Carte SD

- Sélectionner ensuite le répertoire VOC ou MP3 avec la touche Mode + la

touche VO/MP3

- Appuyer la touche Play /Pause pour lancer la lecture

- Répétition d’une plage : appuyer sur la touche 30

- Répétition du répertoire : appuyer 2 fois sur la touche 30 (MP3 seule-

ment)

- Le volume de lecture est réglable par le bouton Vol + le bouton Mic/Aux

ou Player, suivant la sortie utilisée.

6. EFFACEMENT (Fig. V )

- Sélectionner l’emplacement du fichier (ou plage) avec la touche Mode

+ touche Stop F C .

- Sélectionner le répertoire VOC ou MP3 avec la touche Mode + la

touche VO/MP3

- Sélectionner le N° de fichier avec les touches Up 33 et Down 34 .

- Ensuite appuyer la touche Mode, puis la touche Del. “Del” s’affiche.

Appuyer une deuxième fois sur la touche Del pour confirmer

l’effacement.

3. RECORD NG (Fig. V )

- Analogue signal recordings must be done in “VOC” mode.

- Microphone fitted with a 6.35 mm jack plug: Mono microphone plugged

into 22 or stereo microphone plugged into 22 and 24 . Use button 21 to

adjust the recording level.

- Balanced microphone fitted with a D N or XLR plug plugged into either ⑨

or on the rear panel (cf. fig V): Release push button ⑩. Use button ④

on the front panel to adjust the recording level (setting at the 2/3 of

maximum level).

- With an Auxiliary signal input (of between -10 dBu and 0 dBu) on either

the D N or XLR inputs on the rear panel, press push button ⑩. Use but-

ton ④on the front panel to adjust the recording level (setting at the 2/3

of maximum level).

- Downloads can be done from a computer. Refer to Downloads below.

- f an SD card has been inserted into the unit, select the recording

medium using the Mode and Stop F C buttons:

Display = “F0:00:00” = Flash memory record;

Display = “C0:00:00” = SD card record.

- Select VOC mode: Press the Mode button followed by the VOC/MP3

button: “VOC” is then displayed.

- Select track n°: Scroll using buttons 32 and 33 until the required track

number is displayed. Check the track is blank, the counter should dis-

play 0:00:00. f not, erase the track (cf. Section 6, Erase below).

- To begin recording : Press REC. A black spot on the display will flash 3

times, after which recording will begin. The timer will display the dura-

tion of the recording.

To stop recording, press Stop.

4. DOWNLOAD NG

- When transferring files from a computer, use MP3 files only. Set the

recorder to MP3 by pressing Mode and VOC/MP3 : “MP3” will then be

displayed.

- Connect the player to the computer using the USB cable supplied.

There is no need to plug the player into the mains as the USB cable sup-

plied is capable of powering the unit.

- Your computer will automatically detect the new storage medium

which you can then view using Windows Explorer. Now you can add

MP3 files to the flash memory or the SD card and delete them at will.

- Note :

t is not possible to string together a “VOC” and an “MP3” file for auto-

matic playback if they are stored in separate directories. f you want to

create a message that is made up of a microphone recording (stored in

the “VOC” directory) followed by a music programme (held in the

“MP3” directory), copy the MP3 files from the computer to the player’s

“VOC” directory. Prior to doing this, working on the PC, rename the

MP3 files as follows:

M_ NT_xx for files to be transferred to Flash memory.

M_EXT_xx for files to be transferred to the SD card.

N.B.: xx is the storage track number (e.g. 03 for track 03).

5. PLAY (Fig. V )

- f an SD card is present, select the playback medium by pressing Mode

and Stop F C :

Display = “F0:00:00” = Flash memory playback;

Display = “C0:00:00” = SD card playback.

- Next select either the VOC or the MP3 directory using Mode and

VOC/MP3.

- Press the Play/Pause button to begin playback.

- To repeat a track, press button 30 .

- To continuously replay a directory, press button 30 twice (MP3 only).

- To adjust the playback volume, use the Vol button plus the Mic/Aux or

Player button according to the output being used.

6. ERASE (Fig. V )

- Use the Mode and Stop F C buttons to select the file (or track) location:

Display = F = Flash memory;

Display = C = SD card.

- Use the Mode and VO/MP3 to select the VOC or MP3 directory.

- Select the file number using the Up 33 and Down 34 buttons.

- Next press Mode followed by the Del button. “Del” is displayed. Press

the Del button a second time to confirm deletion of the file.

Ce switch permet de configurer la nature des télécommandes :

- Contact à fermeture : interrupteur A sur OFF.

- Contact à ouverture : interrupteur A sur ON.

Remarques : L’appareil est livré d’usine sur “Contact à fermeture”.

L’interrupteur B doit être toujours positionné sur OFF.

2. TELECOMMANDES

Les 8 entrées de télécommandes pour diffu-

sion des messages ou musique sont activées

par un contact fugitif ouvert ou fermé au

repos selon la configuration du switch

3. FONCT ON REPEAT AVEC TELECOMMANDES

La diffusion des messages se fait par un contact fugitif. Cependant un

appui continu provoquera une diffusion en boucle du message (télé-

commande) sélectionné.

La fonction “REPEAT” disparaîtra au relâchement du contact de télé-

commande et le message sera entièrement diffusé une dernière fois.

4. IMPOR AN

l est seulement possible de télécommander des messages enregistrés

sur la mémoire flash et dans le répertoire VOC .

Donc tous les fichiers ou messages MP3 qu’on désire télécommander

doivent être renommés et enregistrés dans VOC. Pour cela, avec

l’ordinateur via le câble USB fourni, renommer les fichiers MP3 comme

suit : M_ NT_XX

« NT » signifie mémoire flash interne et « XX » le numéro de piste

d’enregistrement du message.

NB : l est astucieux d’utiliser le mode VOC pour les messages télécom-

mandés par contact fugitif et le mode MP3 pour les messages diffusés

depuis le clavier du GD 3302.

VII - EXEMPLES D’APPLICATION

Ex 1 - Système simple de diffusion de musique d’ambiance

Connecter la sortie “M C/AUX” ⑫à l’entrée de l’amplificateur de puissance.

Le volume est réglable avec le bouton ⑤quelle que soit la source.

Ex 2 - Centrale de sonorisation compacte, déportée ou non de l’amplificateur

de puissance pour diffusion de musique d’ambiance et appels par micro-

phone

Connecter un microphone en ⑨ou . Relâcher le bouton poussoir ⑩en

position M C. Connecter la sortie “M C/AUX”( sortie par transformateur)

⑫à l’entrée de l’amplificateur.

Régler le niveau des appels micro avec le bouton ④puis ajuster le niveau

de la musique avec le bouton atténuateur ③. Le volume ④agit sur Micro

et Musique.

Avec un microphone pourvu d’une télécommande la musique est coupée

à chaque appel.

Avec un microphone dépourvu d’une télécommande, régler le niveau de

détection de modulation ⑧en face arrière, pour obtenir la coupure de la

musique au seuil souhaité.

Avec un microphone dépourvu de télécommande, et si le réglage de

détection est à zéro les appels sont diffusés en mélange avec la musique.

VI - USE OF THE GD 3302 REMOTE

1. CONF GURAT ON SW TCH FOR REMOTE CONTROL ⑮(Fig. V)

This switch can configure the kind of remote control:

- Contact closing: switch “A” OFF.

- Contact opening: switch “A” ON.

Notes: The device is factory supplied on "contact closure" configuration.

The switch B must always be positioned on OFF.

2. REMOTE CONTROL ⑯(Fig. V)

The 8 NPUTS for remote broadcast messages

or music are activated by a fugitive open or clo-

sed contact to rest depending on the configu-

ration of the switch ⑮.

The contacts were made between contact 1 to 8 and ground also cal-

led common point.

2.1 - Application Examples :

a) broadcasting of the message "1" when contact closure.

A contact closing between remote

control “1” and the ground



causes the

broadcast of the recorded message on

the track “1”of the MP3 player.

b) Message "3" to be broadcast with

contact at the opening.

For the message” 3” recorded on track

“3”, we must have all the contacts

connected to ground and the contact “3”

is the sole opened by impulse.

3. REMOTE FUNCT ON REPEAT

The broadcast is made by pulse. f the contact remain pressed, the

selected message will be broadcast in loop.

When the remote is released, the message is fully broadcast one last

time.

4. IMPOR AN

t is only possible to remote stored messages on memory flash and in

the VOC directroty.

Then, if you want to remote all the files or MP3 messages, you have to

renamed and recorded in VOC directory as follows : M_ NT_XX

" NT" means internal flash memory and "XX" indicates the track recor-

ding number of the message.

NB: t is clever to use the VOC mode for messages remoted by fugitive

contact and the MP3 mode for broadcasted messages from the

GD 3302

keyboard.

VII - EXAMPLES OF APPLICATION

Ex 1 - Simple system of broadcasting background music

Ex 3 - Centrale de sonorisation compacte, déportée ou non de l’amplificateur

de puissance pour diffusion de musique d’ambiance et appel ou anima-

tion avec microphone UHF(800MHz) GM2800 et son récepteur

GZ2802

Connecter un cordon GZ44 de la sortie XLR du canal utilisé sur le

GZ2802 à l’entrée ⑫du coffret source. Relâcher le bouton poussoir ⑩

en position M C. Connecter la sortie “M C/AUX” (sortie par transforma-

teur) ⑫à l’entrée de l’amplificateur.

Régler le niveau des appels micro avec le bouton ④puis ajuster le niveau

de la musique avec le bouton atténuateur ③. Le volume ④agit sur Micro

et Musique.

Régler le niveau de détection de modulation ⑨en face arrière pour obte-

nir la coupure musique à chaque utilisation du microphone. Laisser ⑨à

zéro pour utiliser le microphone en mélange avec la musique. Dans ce

dernier cas, le niveau musique ④pourra être diminué par rapport au

microphone, pour laisser la prépondérance aux appels Micro.

Ex 4 - Centrale de sonorisation compacte identique au paragraphe préce-

dent avec l’amplificateur AS 3xx6 dont les prioritées sont configurées

pour avoir le coffret source prioritaire sur l’entrée AUX

Ex 5

L’appareil peut être utilisé pour générer une télécommande par détection

de modulation à partir d’une source extérieure dépourvue de sortie télé-

commande. On bénéficie de l’étage de préamplification ainsi que de la

sortie symétrique par transformateur pour une liaison longue distance.

Exemple : avec un lecteur de message numérique GD 4128

lequel peut recevoir un microphone, on dispose des fonctions suivantes :

- Diffusion de musique d’ambiance CD Tuner.

- Appels de personnes, prioritaire sur la musique avec le microphone

du GD 4128.

- Diffusion de messages enregistrés, prioritaire sur la musique et le

microphone d’appel.

L’ensemble peut être installé à 100 m ou plus de l’amplification de puis-

sance.

Ex 6

L’entrée jack ②en face avant du coffret source peut être utlisée pour rece-

voir la sortie d’un lecteur, type lecteur MP3 par exemple. Selon le niveau

de sortie du lecteur, l’entrée préamplificateur peut être configuré en mode

“M C” ou “AUX” avec le bouton poussoir ⑩. Régler le volume du lecteur

afin de ne pas saturer l’entrée.

VIII - MAINTENANCE - RECOMMANDATION

En cas de panne :

•

Vérifier l’état du fusible et le remplacer si besoin par un fusible de

mêmes caractéristiques tel qu’indiqué sur l’appareil.

•

Attendre que l’appareil refroidisse pour s’assurer que la panne

n’est pas due à la protection thermique.

•

Sinon retourner l’appareil à l’usine, ou faire appel à un dépan-

neur professionnel.

En fin de vie du produit, s’il est installé sur le territoire français

(DOM-TOM inlus), veuillez contacter BOUYER pour organiser

sa destruction conformément à la directive DEEE.

Dans le cas contraire, veuillez appliquer la règlementation

locale du pays d’installation du produit.

The unit may be used to generate a remote control through starting

from an outside source without remote control. There is an advantage

with the preamplifier level as well as the balanced output via a transfor-

mer for a long distance link.

For example : with a digital message GD 4128 which receives a micro-

phone, the following functions are available :

- Broadcast of background music by CD tuner

- Priority calls by persons over the music with the microphone of

GD4128.

- Broadcast of priority registered messages over music the microphone

calls.

Everything may be installed at 100 m or more from the power ampli-

fier.

Ex 6

The input

on the front face of the source cabinet may be used to

receive a player exit, of the type MP3 sliding for instance. According to

the output level of the player, the input of the preamplifier may be confi-

gured in mode “M C” or “AUX” using the pushbutton

VIII - MAINTENANCE - RECOMMENDATION

n case of failure :

• Check the status of the fuse and replace them if needed by

fuse with the same caracteristics as those indicated on the

product.

• Wait until the product has cooled off, to be sure that the failure

is not caused by the thermal relay.

• Otherwise the product has to be sent back to the factory or

repaired by a recognised dealer.

This product is subject to European regulation 2002/96/CE

(also called W.E.E.E.).

Please contact your local dealer for destruction in end of life.
