2.1 Radio frequency radiation exposure and further information

The radiated output power of the device is far below the FCC radio frequency exposure limits.

Nevertheless, the device must be used in such a manner that the potential for human contact during

normal operation is minimized (see device specification, chapter 4.3).

2.2 Disposal

Disposing of this product correctly will help save valuable resources and prevent any potential

negative effects to human health and the environment, which could otherwise arise from inappropriate

waste handling. Please contact the responsible local authority for further details on your nearest

designated collection point. Penalties may apply for incorrect disposal of this waste, in accordance

with your national legislation. For further information, please refer to chapter 10.9.

3Introduction

The SCD is a multi-sensor device that measures acceleration, magnetic fields, temperature and light.

The robust housing and small design make it perfectly suited for industrial retrofit applications, such

as condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.

Configuring the device enables the user to address a broad variety of use cases.
