1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instructions manual carefully and
keep it in a safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct
operation, do not use if:
• It has fallen to the ground;
•
You notice any evidence of damage;
•
Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect
use it is advisable to read these instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance may not be used for other purposes than the ones
intended and solely for household use. Any damage resulting from
using the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as
any manual modications to the product will not be covered and
automatically voids the warranty.

This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and by
people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities and/or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions
on using the appliance safely and if they understand the hazards
involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance’s. If this is
not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep
the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance
to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous.
To avoid re hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance
to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under
water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch o the appliance and remove the plug
from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before
cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.
1.5. General Precautions

properly install and operate this product and enjoy its advanced

• Any damage caused by manual modications to the product is not
covered by the warranty.
• If this product is used for other purposes than the ones originally
intended, or if it is not correctly connected, the product may become

Before using the appliance, check that the voltage of the wall outlet
corresponds to the rated voltage marked on the rating plate.
• This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please
ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.
• To protect against re, electric shock and injury to persons, do not
immerse cord, plug, in water or other liquid.
• Remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning it and when
it is not in use. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before
removing it, attach components or before cleaning.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or when

any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorised service
centre for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer, since they may result in re, electric shock
or injury to persons.

Place the appliance on a at surface or table, do not hang the power
cord over the edge of the table or counter.
•
Ensure the power cord does not touch any hot surface of the
appliance.
• Do not place the coee maker on a hot surface or next to a re, in
order to avoid any damage.
• To disconnect, remove the plug from the wall outlet. Always hold the
plug. But never pull the cord.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use
and place it in a dry environment.

Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used
near children.
•
Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
•
Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance (such as the steam
wand and the steel mesh just after boiling). Use the handle or the
knobs.
•
Do not let the coee maker operate without water.
•
Scalding may occur if the water tank is removed during the brewing
cycles.

• Do not remove the metal funnel when the appliance in brewing
coee or when there is steam or hot water escaping from the metal
funnel, and be sure to release the pressure in the water tank before
removing the metal funnel.

Connect the plug to the wall outlet before using the coee maker,
and turn all the switches o before unplugging the appliance from
the wall outlet.
•
Relief the pressure through the steam wand before removing the
tank cover or the metal funnel.
• This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
2.1. Product Description
NOTE: Product may be subject to change without prior notice.
2.2. Using the Product
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
To ensure the rst cup of coee tastes excellent, you should rinse the
coee maker with warm water as follows:
• Pour water into the water tank, the water level should not exceed
the “MAX” mark in the tank. Then replace the water tank cover.
NOTE: the appliance is supplied with a detachable tank for easy
cleaning, you can ll the tank with water rst, and then place the
tank into the appliance.

• Place the steel mesh into the metal funnel (with no coee in the
steel mesh). Make sure the tube on the funnel aligns with the
groove on the appliance, then insert the funnel into the appliance as
indicated by the “INSERT” mark, and then x it rmly into the coee
maker by turning it anticlockwise until it is fully locked.
• Place an espresso cup (your own cup) on the removable drip plate.
Make sure the knob is on the “ ” position.
NOTE: the appliance is not equipped with a jug, please use your own
jug or coee cup.
• Connect to the power source, press the ON/OFF switch. The power
indicator (red) will be illuminated.
• Turn the knob to the “ ” position, the pump will pump water,
when there is water owing out, close the pump by turning the knob
again to the “ ” position, making sure the steam button is on the
higher position which is the “ ” position and wait for a moment
as the appliance begins to preheat until the coee indicator is
illuminated, which shows that the preheating has nished. Turn the
knob to the “ ” position again, and the water will ow out.
• After about one minute, turn the knob to the “ ” position to stop
brewing, you can pour the water into several containers, then clean
them thoroughly, and after that you can start brewing.

• Remove the detachable tank and open the tank cover to ll it with
the desired water. The water level should not exceed the “MAX”
mark in the tank. Then place the tank properly in the appliance.
