CONTROL PANEL AND REMOTE OPERATION
SYMBOL FUNCTIONS
No Water icon: There is no water in the tank.The device will shut off automatically.
Temperature Icon: The LCD screen will display the ambient temperature.
Humidity percentage icon: The LCD screen will display the level of ambient humidity.
Negative Ion icon: Automatically displayed and functioning when the device is turned on.
Mist Level icon: Displayed when the humidity level has been set.
Timer icon: Displayed when the auto-timer has been set.
Power/Nightlight button: Press to turn the device on or off (the LCD screen will light up).
Press and hold for 2 seconds to activate the nightlight.
Mist Level button: Press to set the desired level of mist output. Press once for level 1, two
times for level 2, and three times for level 3. The LCD screen will display the selected level.
Timer/Lock button: Press to set the time before the device shuts off (1 hour to 12 hours).
Press and hold for 2 seconds to lock or unlock the digital control panel.
Lock button:Press to lock or unlock the digital control panel.
Humidity button: Press the button to set your desired level of humidity (40% to 90%).The LCD
screen will display the target value while you make your selection.The device will switch off
when the selected humidity level is reached and resume if it drops below that level.
Note: The remote control has an operating range of about 14.8 ft (4.5 m).

SETUP BEFORE USE
ACTIVATING THE REMOTE CONTROL
When using the remote control for the rst time,
make sure to remove the insulator from the battery
to turn it on.
HOW TO USE YOUR UMIDÖ
1. Make sure the device is unplugged and that the water tank is clean and empty.
2. Using both hands, lift the removable water tank B from its base C. Be careful in case of
any water remaining in the water tank or the base.
3. Open the outlet cover A and ll the tank B (max 1gal/4L) with ltered or puried cold
water.
4. Re-close the outlet cover A. You can rotate the
cover left or right to set the optimal direction of the
mist ow for your space.
5. Securely replace the removable water
tank B on its base. CMake sure the two
dots at the back of the device are in alignment.
6. Press the AUTO button to select the desired level
of humidity and the MIST button to select the
desired mist level.
7. Your Umidö is in operation! It will now produce cool mist throughout your baby’s room.
To present bacteria from developing in the tank, we recommend replacing the water
daily. Make sure to rinse out the tank each time you replace the water and to clean the
water tank at least once a week. See the Maintenance section for more information on
properly cleaning your Umidö.
Notes:
(1) Depending on the water treatment methods in your area, tap water may be rich in calcium, magnesium, or other hard minerals. These can
build up inside your humidier in the form of white dust on the transducer and interfere with proper operation. Make sure to only use water that
is low in hard minerals such as ltered or puried water.
(2) The LCD screen cannot be completely turned off while the Umidö is in operation.
(3) If the Umidö makes a beep-beep sound and a red drop appears on the screen, it means the tank is empty. The device will shut off
automatically. Fill it up before turning the device back on again.
HOW TO USE THE ESSENTIAL OIL DIFFUSER
Your Umidö is equipped with an aromatherapy function. To use it, just add a few drops of your
selected aroma to the essential oil container G. Do not add any fragrance or essential oils
directly to the water tank. This will damage the internal components of your Umidö.
FOR BEST RESULTS WHEN USING YOUR UMIDÖ
• While the device can run for up to 28 hours, do not leave water in the tank for long periods
as this can cause bacteria to proliferate. Drain off water from the tank and base daily.
• The Umidö should be placed in an elevated position (such as on a table, a stand, etc.) about
4 feet (1.2 meters) from the oor. Do not place the Umidö directly on the oor or next to a
heating vent. Always keep the appliance on a dry, level surface and in an upright position.
• Do not point the mist outlet directly at plants, electrical sockets, or other objects.
• Make sure the area around the device is clear and keep a distance of at least 20 inches
(50 cm) away from it. Keep the appliance away from doors and windows and make sure
to place your Umidö in an out-of-the-way location to prevent it from being knocked over.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
It is important to regularly clean your Umidö, not only to prevent the growth of bacteria, but
also to ensure it will operate effectively for a long time. Before servicing the Umidö, make sure it
is unplugged and cooled off.
HOW TO DISINFECT THE REMOVABLE WATER TANK
1. Unplug your Umidö and detach the water tank B from its base C.
2. Allow any water still in the water tank to drain off, B then hall-ll the tank with clean
water.
3. Add 2 tsp. of white vinegar or chlorine bleach.
4. Every two to three minutes, tilt the water tank B from side to side, making sure to coat all
surfaces.
5. After 20 minutes, carefully empty the water tank B and rinse it out with hot water until
you can longer smell the vinegar or the bleach.
6. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth or paper towel.
HOW TO CLEAN THE BASE OF THE TANK
1. Unplug your Umidö and detach the water tank B from its base C.
2. Allow any water still in the base to drain off C.
3. Partially ll the base C with one cup (8 oz) of undiluted white vinegar.
4. Leave the vinegar in the base C for 20 minutes, while cleaning interior surfaces with the
cleaning brush H.
5. Rinse the surface of the base thoroughly Cwith hot water until you can longer smell the
vinegar.
6. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth or paper towel.
HOW TO REMOVE HARD MINERAL DEPOSITS (SCALING) ON THE TRANSDUCER
1. Unplug your Umidö and detach the water tank B from its base C.
2. Allow any water still in the base to drain off C.
3. To fully access the transducer J, remove
the cap by turning it counterclockwise
and pulling it up.
4. Place 2 tsp. of distilled white vinegar and
let sit for 2-5 minutes.
5. Gently scrub the surface of the
transducer J with the cleaning brush H
until all the deposits have been removed.
6. Rinse the surface of the base thoroughly
with hot water until you can longer smell the
vinegar.
7. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth or paper towel.
8. Put the cap back into place by aligning the notches and lock it in by turning it clockwise.

WARNINGS
• Check whether the local voltage matches the device’s specications before connecting
it to a power source.
• This device features a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of shock, this plug is designed to
t in a polarized outlet in only one way. If the plug does not t fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician.
• A loose t between the plug and the outlet can cause overheating and distort the shape
of the plug. Contact a qualied electrician to replace loose or worn receptacles.
• Never disassemble the device, remove any xed parts, or attempt to make any internal
adjustments.
• Always unplug your device when it is not in use and before removing, lling, emptying, or
cleaning the water tank. Do not plug in or use the device if it is not completely assembled.
• Do not touch the water in the base when the device is in use. Never touch the transducer
with your bare hands or a metal object.
• Never pull the plug from the outlet by the cable or with wet hands.
• Do not run power cords under carpets or throw rugs.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or countertop.
• Do not sit on, stand on, or place any heavy object on the device.
• Do not use the device in the presence of combustible gases or vapors.
• Do no place on or near a hot surface or near an electrical or gas radiator.
• Place the device on a at and stable surface out of direct sunlight.
ENVIRONMENT & RECYCLING INFORMATION
This appliance has been designed and manufactured with high-quality materials and
components that can be recycled and reused.
Do not dispose of this product with ordinary household waste. Find out the proper procedure for
electronics disposal in your region. Take this product to a collection point for recycling electrical
and electronic equipment.
HOW TO CLEAN THE REMOVABLE DUSTPROOF SPONGE
1. Unplug your Umidö and allow water to drain from the tank B and its base C.
2. Turn the base C upside down to access the sponge locker M.
3. Remove the cover of the sponge locker M by pressing the tab and pulling it up.
4. Remove the dustproof sponge L and wash it with detergent and water.
Dry it thoroughly before putting it back in place.
5. Re-insert the cover of the sponge locker Mand make sure it is locked in place.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
• Never move the device when it contains water or when it is turned on.
• Never use the device without water in the tank.
• Do not allow children to play unattended near the device. It is intended for use by
a responsible adult. Make sure to keep it out of the reach of children.
• Regularly check the device prior to use for signs of wear or damage. Do not use the
device if it is damaged in a way that would impair safe use.
• Immediately stop use if the device is damaged. Repairs must be made by
a qualied technician.
• Do not allow foreign objects to enter ventilation or exhaust openings as this can cause
electric shock or damage the device. Do not block air outlets or intakes.
• Do not immerse the device, its cord, or plug in any liquids, and do not use near water
(the bathroom, laundry area, etc.). Do not pour water into the mist outlet of the device.
• Never add detergent, chemicals, or fragrances to the tank.
• The use of water additives (such as essential oils, fragrances, etc.) damages the material
of the tank. Always make sure to use the container intended for that purpose. Never pour
water additives directly into the water tank.
• If the mist comes in contact with the oor prior to evaporating, this may damage the
surface of the oor. Make sure to monitor the area regularly.
• To prevent water leaks from the base, we recommend never to close the tank if there is
water in the base.
• This device is intended for indoor use only. Never use the device for any purpose other
than that for which it was designed.
• If the device will not be in use for a long period of time, store out of the reach of children.
