2.2 Packet Sender
Thi application permit to tran fer mall data packet between two demo , one et in Ma ter Mode and
the other one in Slave Mode. The tran mi ion i done from ma ter to lave, the payload ize i fixed at 4
byte :
•Byte 0: 0x00
•Byte 1: Counter Value MSB
•Byte 2: Counter Value LSB
•Byte 3: CRC Value
The RF tran mi ion power i et to the maximum value (+9dBm).The lave module wait an incoming
packet from the Ma ter and it an wer with an acknowledgment packet. An example of the di play i
hown in Figure 5.

Pre ing the button SELECT move the cur or in all the parameter available uch a :
•Mode : witch between high en itivity (HS) and normal en itivity (NS).
•Slave/Ma ter : witch between the two mode .
The lave module wait 200 m of timeout. When it receive a packet, the
CRC i calculated and a 4 byte acknowledgement i ent to the Ma ter.
The ma ter module continuou ly tran mit 4 byte of data every 200 m of
time interval.
•B_rate : Select the available bit rate ,
1.5 – 3 – 6 – 12 kbp in high en itivity mode (HS).
1.5 – 3 – 6 – 12 – 24 – 48 – 72 kbp in normal en itivity mode (NS).
•Freq : Switch between the different channel a indicated in the
•Table 1.
An auto-calibration i performed each time that thi parameter i changed.
•TOT,MIS,CRC : TOT i increa ed for every packet received,
MIS count the timeout triggered without a packet received,
CRC count the bit error in the packet received.
•RSSI : Thi number how the received ignal trength.
It’ in logarithmic cale, from 0 to 9.
