SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: - Read prior to installing. When using Ascon
Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer for LED pool lights, this equipment must
be installed and serviced by a qualified technician. Improper installation
can create electrical hazards which could result in property damage,
serious injury or death. Improper installation will void the warranty. If
the electrical supply cord of this product is damaged, return to supplier
for repair to avoid hazards.

INSTALLATION
The Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer (TXF) can be installed either indoors or
outdoors. However, the TXF must be positioned so the electrical terminal
connections are facing downward to the ground to ensure maximum protection of
all electrical terminal connections.
Choose a location for the WiFi TXF to ensure the distance between the WiFi TXF and
the LED pool lights being connected complies with the LED pool lights maximum
power cord length.
Note: Refer to the LED pool lights manufacturer’s specifications.
The Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer should not be mounted in areas where
chemicals are stored (e.g. acid and chlorine). Also ensure that the WiFi TXF can be
connected to the mains power outlet of the pool area.
Note: This outlet must meet the current applicable local standards at the time of
installation.
Note: Do not use a double adaptor to connect the Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi
Transformer to the mains power as this will overload the system and void warranty.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer must be mounted at minimum of 500mm
above ground level. Multiple units should be mounted at minimum of 200mm from
each WiFi TXF and a minimum distance of 500mm from any other electrical
equipment or device. Electrical terminal connections should be on the underside of
the unit.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
1. The installation of the Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer should be carried out in
accordance to the safety instructions of swimming pools especially Standard HD 60364-7-
702:2010, Install & protection output circuit in accordance with AS/NZS61558.2.6, AS/NZS
3000:2007 or as amended and the specific instructions for each facility.
2. The rules enforced on accident prevention should be carefully followed.
3. No modification to the Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer is to be carried out. This will
void the warranty of the product and the manufacturer accepts no responsibility for any
damage or injuries.
4. Original replacement parts and accessories authorized by the manufacturer ensure a high
level of safety.
5. The manufacturer accepts no liability for the damage and injuries caused by unauthorised
replacement parts and accessories.
6. During operation, some parts of the Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer are subject to
dangerous electric voltage.
7. Work may only be performed on the Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer or on the
equipment connected to it after disconnecting from the mains power.
8. The user should make sure that assembly and maintenance tasks are carried out by
qualified authorised persons and that these persons have first carefully read the owner
manual.
9. The operating safety of the Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer is only guaranteed if the
owner manual instructions are correctly followed.
10. In the event of defective operation or fault, contact the manufacturer’s Technical
Support Department or its nearest Authorised Agent.
11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person.
12. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.

WiFi APPLICATION METHOD
1. Download and install the app –AsconSmart.
Using your smartphone or tablet go to App Store or Google Play.
Download the AsconSmart app, and install the app.
2. Register AsconSmart account.
Open the AsconSmart app, register with mobile phone number or E-Mail.

3. Run AsconSmart app. Click “+” or button (ADD DEVICES) to add WiFi
transformer.
4. Power on WiFi transformer and confirm the WiFi indicator light flashes rapidly
(flashes every 1 second). If not flashing, press and hold WiFi button for over 5
seconds. If flashes slowly (flashes every 2 seconds), press and hold WiFi button
for over 5 seconds.

5. Click “Confirm indicator rapidly blink” button on AsconSmart app.
Then input the WiFi password.
Note1: Mobile phone should have connected to the WiFi before
running AsconSmart app.
Note2: AsconSmart app only supports 2.4GHz & 5GHz WiFi signal.
After WiFi transformer is added, the indicator LED will stay on.
6. Click “Confirm”, AsconSmart will search for the available Ascon WiFi
transformer.

7. Ascon Turmion Pro WiFi Transformer is added in AsconSmart app now.
8. After the device is added successfully, click “Check Device Network” to
check WiFi signal strength.

To operate different Multi-coloured pool lights
**The first time the TXF is operated, please Click Select –Reset for the app to set to
the correct colour**
Programming sequences for the following pool lights have been added to this version
of the Turmion Pro Wifi TXF:
AquaQuip Multicolour Pool Lighting
AquaQuip InstaTouch Enabled Pool Lighting
SpaElectrics Multicolour Pool Lighting
Waterco Multicolour Pool Lighting
Click Select - Reset will turn the pool light to the default colour.
Click Select - Next will change the light to the next colour in the sequence.
Click Select –Save for the TXF to remember your favourite colour
N.B. Delay times for programmed pool lights range from 5 to 15 seconds.
