• AMIBOT Swip is designed to be used inside.
• AMIBOT Swip is designed for routine oor cleaning. It is not in-
tended to replace heavy-duty cleaning.
• AMIBOT Swip needs a headway of at least 12 cm so that it can go
under furniture.
• AMIBOT Swip cannot go over obstacles, such as thresholds, oth-
erwise it automatically stops or reverses.
• AMIBOT Swip is designed to clean hard oors only.
• AMIBOT Swip must be used on at surfaces or slopes of no more
than 10%.
• Remove all objects located on the oor before starting the clean-
ing cycle.
• If the robot could come across a gap while cleaning, please check
that the gap sensors are clean.
• AMIBOT Swip is not designed to clean water or other liquids.
• Do not use the appliance on damp oors.
• Please switch o the appliance before handling it (manually mov-
ing it, maintenance, cleaning).
• The remote control requires 2 x LR03-type batteries (AAA), which
are included.

Charging the robot
Plug the robot in using the power adapter provided. The Start/Stop
buttons on the appliance and the remote control do not work when
the robot is charging.
NOTES:
• Before using the robot for the rst time, you are recommended to fully charge
the battery (for 150 minutes).
• You do not need to switch the robot on while it is charging.
• The average charge time is around 100 minutes. When the robot's battery is
fully empty, the charge time can be up to 150 minutes.
• Unplug the robot before starting it.
• If the robot is not used for a long period of time, you are recommended to fully
charge the battery, switch o the robot and store it in a cool, dry place.

NOTES:
• Each water tank has a maximum capacity of 60ml.
• For optimum cleaning, check the dilution ratio indicated on the detergent bottle.
• Only use oor cleaner.
Cleaning
Attaching the cleaning pads
NOTE: If the microbre cleaning pads are too damp, the robot may not work
correctly. Wring them out well before attaching them to the underside of the robot.
Preparing the water tanks
Open the water tanks' rell
nozzle in the direction of the
arrow on the cap. Carefully pour
clean water with oor cleaner
into the tanks. Close the tanks.
Dampen the thick microbre
cleaning pads with clean water,
then wring them out. Attach
them to the water tanks using the
Velcros. Make sure the cleaning
pads are correctly positioned in
the centre of the water tanks.

Inserting the water tanks
Insert the two water tanks into the compartments on the underside
of the robot. Once inserted, the water tanks must be able to rotate
freely. The robot is ready to start its cleaning cycle.
NOTES:
• Check that the water tanks are attached to the robot correctly. For optimum
performance, never cover the edge detectors.
• Do not use the robot on rugs or carpets.
• The water tanks must be removed from the robot before it is charged.
Starting the robot
Once the water tanks are inserted,
switch the robot on using the
power button on the underside
of the appliance (Figure 1). The
robot beeps several times and
the Start/Stop button turns blue.
Turn the robot over and place it
on the oor.
