IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully and retain
them for future use. If this product is passed to
a third party, then these instructions must be
included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons
including the following:
WARNING Keep ventilation openings, in the
appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of
obstruction.
WARNING Do not use mechanical devices or
other means to accelerate the defrosting process,
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
WARNING Do not use electrical appliances inside
the food storage compartments of the appliance,
unless they are of the type recommended by the
manufacturer.
WARNING When positioning the appliance,
ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
WARNING Do not locate multiple portable socket-
outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the
appliance.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from
8years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load
and unload refrigerating appliances.
• Appliance must only be supplied at safety extra
low voltage corresponding to the marking on the
appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by a special cord or assembly available from the
manufacturer or its service agent.
• When using the appliance in a vehicle or boat, make
sure the power supply circuit is properly fused and
can meet the electrical power requirement. Use
of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is
recommended.
• This appliance is considered to be suitable for use in
temperatures between 10 – 32 °C.
• The appliance is suitable for camping use.
• The appliance may be connected to more than one
source of energy.
• Do not use extension cords.

• The appliance shall not be exposed to rain.
• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol
cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments. This
appliance is intended to be used in household.
• Do not use this appliance near direct heat sources,
for example, a cooker or a radiator. Do not expose
the appliance to a direct sunlight.
• Do not place ice, foods or liquids which are not
sealed in containers. Food may only be stored in its
original packaging or in suitable containers.
• When using cooling mode, do not place hot products
or hot food in the appliance.
• Place the products so that they do not knock against
each other or break when the appliance is being
moved.
• This appliance is not designed to operate at an angle
greater than 25degrees.
• Do not use sharp, corrosive or abrasive cleaners to
clean or defrost the appliance.

• When installed in a vehicle: The appliance must be
fastened so that it does not cause a safety hazard in
case of collision or hard braking.
• To avoid contamination of food, please respect the
following instructions:
– Opening the door for long periods can cause
a significant increase of the temperature in the
compartments of the appliance.
– Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact
with food and accessible drainage systems.
– Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in
the refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or
drip onto other food.
– If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long
periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave
the door open to prevent mould developing within
the appliance.

Intended Use
• This product is intended for cooling or warming foods and beverages.
• This product is intended for household and camping use only. It is not
intended for commercial use.
• The product is not suitable for a permanent operation.
• This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only. Do not
expose the product to rain.
• No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use
or non-compliance with these instructions.
Before First Use
• Check the product for transport damages.
• Remove all the packing materials.
• Clean the product before first use. Wash the inside of the appliance
with lukewarm water. Use 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water solution. Do
not use soap or detergents as the smell may linger. Dry the appliance
thoroughly.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the
power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power
supply details shown on the product rating label.
DANGER Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials
awayfrom children – these materials are a potential source of danger,
e.g. suffocation.
Operation
WARNING Risk of fire! Do not block the air outlet(F) and the air
inlet(K) while the product is operating.
Connecting to a power source
Method A. Connect the power plug(I) to a suitable socket outlet.
Method B. Connect the cigarette lighter plug(H) to a cigarette lighter
socket.
NOTICE
• To preserve vehicle battery, only use the product while the vehicle
engine is running. Using the product for extended periods of time
with the engine off can completely discharge the vehicle battery.
• The MAX function can only be used when the product is connected
to a socket outlet.

• Do not switch directly from one operating mode to the other. If you
would like to change the mode, switch the product off and wait for
about 30 minutes before you set it to the other mode.
Cooling
1. Set the power switch(A) to ECO (economy setting) or MAX (lowest
temperature setting).
2. Set the cooler/warmer switch (C) to COLD. The cooling indicator(B)
lights up.
3. After use, set the power switch(A) and the cooler/warmer switch(C)
to OFF. Then unplug the product from the power source.
Warming up
1. Set the power switch(A) to ECO (economy setting) or MAX (highest
temperature setting).
2. Set the cooler/warmer switch (C) to WARM. The warming
indicator(D) lights up.
3. After use, set the power switch(A) and the cooler/warmer switch(C)
to OFF. Then unplug the product from the power source.
Tips
• For best results only store already cooled/warmed food/beverages.
Select a place that is protected from a direct sunlight.
• The product is not designed for reheating. Cold food will only warm
up slightly after about 2 hours.
• The thermal element switches off and on at intervals to maintain the
temperature. The red indicator lights up when the thermal element is
in operation and when the fan is running.
Locking and unlocking the lid(G)
Flip the handle(J) forward to unlock and backwards to lock the product.

Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock,
unplug the product before cleaning.
WARNING Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not
immerse the electrical parts of product in water or other liquids. Never
hold the product under running water.
Cleaning
NOTICE
The lid(G) can be removed for cleaning. To do so, open the
lid(G) to a 45 degree angle and separate it from the base.
• Remove and throw out any aged, moldy or inedible foods. Let the
product return to room temperature.
• To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth. Use 1part
vinegar to 3parts lukewarm water solution.
• For stubborn stains or buildups, use a small amount of white
toothpaste and a soft brush.
• Dry the product after cleaning.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers,
metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
Storage
• Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away
from children and pets.
• To prevent odors and mold growth, leave the door open slightly,
blocking it open if necessary.
Plug fuse replacement (for UK only)
• Use a flat screwdriver to open the fuse compartment cover.
• Remove the fuse and replace with the same type (13 A, BS1362).
Refit the cover.
