1. Einleitung
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf des HSC 200 SR
Headsets. Sie haben sich für eine professionelle
Hörsprechgarnitur entschieden, die einige einzigarti-
ge Eigenschaften aufweist. Diese werden an-
schließend näher beschrieben.
2. Sicherheitshinweise
1. Schütten Sie keine Flüssigkeiten auf das Gerät
und lassen Sie keine sonstigen Gegenstände in
die Geräteöffnungen fallen.
2. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in die Nähe von
Wärmequellen wie z.B. Radiatoren, Heizungs-
rohren, Verstärkern. usw. auf und setzen Sie es
nicht direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, starker Staub-
und Feuchtigkeitseinwirkung, Regen, Vibrationen
oder Schlägen aus.
3. Komponenten
Das HSC 200 SR besteht aus folgenden Teilkompo-
nenten:
• Hörsystem
• Mikrofon
3.1. Hörsystem
Das Hörsystem ist in halboffener Bauweise ausge-
führt. Es läßt den Schall teilweise zu Ihren Ohren
durch, um Sie nicht total von Ihrer Umwelt zu isolie-
ren, gewährt Ihnen aber dennoch einen gewissen
Schutz, vor allem bei höheren Frequenzen.
Die Aufhängung der Hörer ist ergonomisch flexibel
ausgeführt. Die Ohrpolster sind austauschbar (Bestell
Code 2456Z3201) und leicht zu reinigen.
3.2. Mikrofon
Das Elektret-Mikrofon sitzt auf einer elastischen
Lagerung die Körperschall, insbesondere Kabel-
geräusche unterdrückt. Richten Sie das Mikrofon am
Schwanenhals so aus, daß es ca. 3 bis 5 cm vor
dem linken Mundwinkel plaziert ist. Auf diese Weise
vermeiden Sie Pop-Geräusche und erzielen einen
optimalen Wirkungsgrad.
Die Richtwirkung des Mikrofons ist nierenförmig, d.h.
es nimmt den Schall von vorne (Richtung Mund) auf
und unterdrückt den rückwärtigen Schalleintritt.

4. Stromversorgung
Das HSC 200 SR kann aus Phantomspeisequellen
nach DIN 45596 gespeist werden. Diese Norm
schreibt eine positive Spannung von 12, 24 oder
48 Volt an den NF-Leitungen gegen die Kabel-
abschirmung vor

1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the HSC 200 SR. You have
selected a professional headset with a number of
unique features. Please take a few minutes to read
this manual. It contains important information on how
to use your headset.
2. Precautions
1. Spill no liquids on the equipment and do not
drop any objects through any openings in the
equipment.
2. Do not place the equipment near heat sources
such as radiators, heating ducts, or amplifiers
and do not expose it to direct sunlight, excessive
dust, moisture, rain, mechanical vibrations, or
shock.
3. Components
The HSC 200 SR consists of the following com-
ponents:
• Headphones
• Microphone
3.1. Headphones
The headphones are a semi-open design. While it
allows some ambient sound to pass through the ear-
cups so you will not be totally isolated from your
surroundings, it affords a certain amount of pro-
tection, particularly at high frequencies.
The earcups are ergonomically, flexibly suspended.
The ear pads are replaceable and easy to clean
(order no. 2456Z3201).
3.2. Microphone
The electret microphone rests in a shock mount that
suppresses vibrational noise, particularly cable noise.
Align the gooseneck to place the microphone aprox.
3 to 5 cm (1 to 2 inches) in front of the left corner of
your mouth. This placement prevents pop noise and
provides optimum efficiency.
The microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern. It
picks up sound from in front of it (your words) and
suppresses sounds coming from behind it.

4. Powering
To power the HSC 200 SR, use a phantom power
supply to DIN 45596. This standard specifies a posi-
tive voltage of 12, 24, or 48 V fed to the audio lines
with reference to the cable shield.
You can add phantom power to almost any type of
input:

either capacitors or additional transformers into the

1. Introduction

HSC 200 SR. Vous êtes désormais en possession
d’un équipement professionnel se distinguant par un
certain nombre de caractéristiques uniques ressortant
de la description ci-dessous.
2. Consignes de sécurité
1. Attention de ne pas renverser de liquide sur le
micro-casque et de ne rien faire tomber dans les
ouvertures.
2. Ne laissez jamais le micro-casque à proximité
d’une source de chaleur (tuyau de radiateur ou
autre appareil de chauffage, ampli. etc.) ni dans
un lieu où il risque d’être exposé directement au
soleil, à une atmosphère poussiéreuse, à l’humi-
dité, à la pluie, aux vibrations ou aux secousses.
3. Eléments du micro-casque
Le HSC 200 SR se compose des éléments suivants:
• Casque d’écoute
• Microphone
3.1 Casque d’écoute
Il s’agit d’un système à écouteurs semi-ouverts laissant
filtrer une partie du son pour ne pas vous isoler com-
plètement du milieu ambiant tout en assurant une pro-
tection suffisante à l’égard des bruits extérieurs, en
particulier en ce qui concerne les hautes fréquences.
La suspension souple des écouteurs est ergonomique.
Les oreillettes lavables sont interchangeables (Code
de commande 2456Z3201).
3.2 Microphone
Le microphone à électret est monté sur une suspensi-
on élastique neutralisant les bruits de manipulation,
en particulier ceux venant du câble. Orientez le
micro à l’aide du col de cygne pour qu’il se trouve à
3-5 cm de la commissure des lèvres. Vous éviterez
ainsi les pops et obtiendrez un rendement optimal.
Grâce à sa caractéristique de directivité cardioïde,
le microphone capte le son sur l’avant (donc du côté
de la bouche) et réjecte les ondes arrière.
