1Introduction
This section provides information about the OC845 Outdoor Day/Night FHD
Camera's features, components and capabilities.
1.1 Feature Overview
The OC845 is an Outdoor day/night camera with FHD resolution and 802.11ac
Wi-Fi connectivity intended for use with both ADT Control® and Pulse®.
•Standalone Design. The camera is a standalone system with built-in CPU
and video encoder. It requires only a power source and a connection to the
network (Customer router for Control or ADT Pulse gateway).
•Dual Video Support. The OC845 supports H.264 and MJEPG video
compression.
•Day/Night Switch. With the day/night switching feature, you can view and
record images even at night.
•IR LED Support. The two infrared LEDs can provide illumination for up to 5
meters/16 feet, providing superior video quality under low-light conditions.
•PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) Support. The embedded PIR Sensor senses
infrared light radiating from human bodies in its field of view.
•Built-in Heater. The built-in heater ensures that the camera will continue to
operate even in extremely cold outdoor climates. The heater turns on when
the temperature falls below 42°F (6°C).
•802.11ac Support. The 802.11ac standard provides backward
compatibility with the 802.11b, g and n standards.
•Supports both Soft AP and WPS. Soft AP connectivity is used on the Control
platform. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) uses a push button to connect to the
Pulse platform.
•Wireless Network. The OC845 is connected to the network wirelessly.
•Two-Way Audio. The OC845 has a speaker and microphone for two-way
conversations and echo cancellation.
