General safety warnings
›Always check the tool, charger, cables and plugs before using the tool. Stop using the
tool or charger if you discover any damage. Do not open the tool or the charger your-
self, and have it serviced only by a qualified repair technician using only original repla-
cement parts. Damaged tools, chargers, cables or plugs increase the risk of electric shock.
›Do not leave the tool unattended while it is switched on.
›Protect the tool against heat, e.g. against continuous sunlight, fire, water, and moisture.
There is a risk of explosion.
›Do not throw the glue stick into fire.
›Safely place the tool down after use and let it cool completely before packing it away.
The hot nozzle can cause damage.
›Only use chargers recommended by the manufacturer to charge the tool. Doing otherwise
poses a fire hazard.
›Keep the charging socket on the tool and on the charger away from other metal objects
such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can crea-
te a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause
burns or a fire.
›If used incorrectly or if the battery is damaged, flammable liquid may be ejected from
the battery. Contact with this liquid should be avoided. If contact accidentally occurs,
rinse off with water. If the liquid comes into contact with your eyes, additionally seek
medical attention. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
›Do not touch the hot nozzle or the silicone cap. There is a risk of burns.
