Tool Use and Care
1. Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct
tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed.
2. Do not use tool if switch does not turn it on or off. Any tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be returned to your
nearest authorized service centre for repair.
3. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally
and causing injury or damage.
4. Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained persons.
Tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
5. While the tool is not in use always ensure that the 12Vdc plug
connector is sitting within the protective boot and the closing end cap
is firmly in place.
6. Maintain tools with care. Properly maintained tools are less likely to bind
and are easier to control.
7. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts,
and any other condition that may affect the tools operation. If
damaged, have the tool serviced before using. Poorly maintained tools
cause many accidents.
8. Blade tightness should be periodically checked, as operating the tool
with a loose blade will damage the Waveblade. Always check before
every use and re-tighten a loose blade immediately.
9. Do not use damaged blades as they could cause personnel injury or
damage to the hull surface. Damaged blades must be replaced with a new
blade immediately. New blades can be purchased from your nearest
Waveblade stockist or at
10. The Waveblade should not be use continuously for periods exceeding
30 minutes. Ideally it should have an intermittent duty cycle of 1 minute on
10 seconds off.

1. Tool service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel.
Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in
