Work area security
a) Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas can cause accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive environments, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools can create sparks that may ignite dust or smoke.
c) Keep children and bystanders away when operating power tools. Distractions can cause you
to lose control.
Electrical safety
a) The plug of the power tool must match the socket. Do not modify the plug in any way. Do
not use any adapter plugs with grounded (earthed) power tools. Unmodified plugs and
matching sockets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with grounded or earthed surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, stoves, and
refrigerators. If your body is grounded or grounded, the risk of electric shock increases.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or humidity. Water entering power tools increases the risk
of electrocution.
d) Don't abuse the power cord. Never use the power cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging
power tools. Keep power cords away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Damaged or
tangled wires increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating power tools outdoors, use extension cords suitable for outdoor use. Use a
power cord suitable for outdoor use to reduce the risk of electric shock.
f) If you cannot avoid operating power tools in wet areas, use a ground fault circuit breaker
(GFCI) to protect the power. Use of GFCI reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
a) Be vigilant when operating power tools, observe what you are doing and use common sense.
Do not use power tools when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or drugs. A
momentary lapse of concentration while operating power tools can result in serious injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear safety goggles. Wearing gloves and using
protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-slip safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protec-
tion under appropriate conditions will reduce personal injury.
c) Prevent accidental startup. Before connecting to a power supply and/or battery pack, pick up
or carry the tool. Carrying a power tool with your finger on a switch or powering a power tool
with the switch on can cause an accident.
d) Remove any adjusting keys or wrenches before turning on power tools. A wrench or key left
on a rotating part of a power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Don't overdo it. Always maintain proper footing and balance. This allows for better control of
power tools in unexpected situations.
f) Dress appropriately. Don't wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothes, and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelry, or long hair can get involved in moving parts.
G) If equipment is provided for connecting dust removal and collection facilities, ensure that
such equipment is connected and used properly. The use of dust collectors can reduce dust-re-
lated hazards.
