2 Safety instructions
2.1 General safety
DDANGER! Failure to obey these warnings will result in death
or serious injury.
Before starting up the device for the first time, verify that the
operating voltage matches the power supply voltage (see data
plate).
In the event of fire use a fire extinguisher which is suitable for
electrical devices.
!WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in
death or serious injury.
The device may not be used if the device itself or the connection
cable are visibly damaged.
This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel.
Improper repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
Should the device need to be repaired, contact the customer
services.
This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and know-ledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Electrical devices are not toys.
Always keep and use the device out of the reach of very young
children.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
!CAUTION!
Disconnect the device from the power supply:
– Before each cleaning and maintenance
– After every use
– Before working on the device
ANOTICE! Damage hazard
Check that the voltage specification on the data plate is the
same as that of the power supply.
Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
2.2 Operating the device safely
!CAUTION! Failure to obey these cautions could result in
minor or moderate injury.
Only use cleaning agents approved by Dometic WAECO:
– AirCon Refresh, content 1 l, ref. no.: 8887400008
– AirCon Refresh, content 20x 100 ml, ref. no.: 8887400016
– Car Refresh, content 1 l, ref. no.: 8887400009
– Car Refresh, content 20x 100 ml, ref. no.: 8887400015
Never operate the device without any fluid.
Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
Get out of the vehicle during cleaning.
Ensure good ventilation. Do not breathe in the spray from the
air-conditioning cleaning agent.
ANOTICE! Damage hazard
Never expose the device to moisture.
Do not clean plastic parts with solvents or corrosive substances.

5 Intended use
The Refresh-o-mat is an ultrasonic spraying device for cleaning vehicle air-
conditioning systems or for eradicating odors in the vehicle interior. The
device produces a fine spray of active agent which is distributed by the air-
conditioning system and thereby removes impurities and odors.
Used once a year, the air-conditioning system will be cleaned hygienically
and be free of odors.
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in
accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation
and/or operation of the product. Poor installation and/or improper operating
or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible fail-
ure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product
resulting from:
Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare
parts provided by the manufacturer
Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufac-
turer
Use for purposes other than those described in this manual
