INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the VTech®Push & Spin Helicopter.
Press the rotor blades to see the helicopter roll forward. The 2 animal
buttons trigger lights, catchy music, fun responses and introduce your
baby to animals, numbers, colours and letters.

WARNING: All packing materials such as tape, plastic
sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable
ties and packaging screws are not part of this
toy and should be discarded for your child’s
safety.
NOTE: Please keep this Parent`s Guide as it contains
important information.
GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the
bottom of the unit. Use a screwdriver
to loosen the screw.
3. Install one new AA (LR6/AM-3)
battery following the diagram inside
the battery box. (The use of a new,
alkaline battery is recommended for
maximum performance).
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten
the screw to secure.
Unlock the packaging locks:
Rotate the packaging lock anticlockwise 90
degrees.
Pull out and discard the packaging lock.

BATTERY NOTICE
• Use new alkaline batteries or fully charged NI-MH (Nickel Metal-
hydride) rechargeable batteries for best performance.
• Useonlybatteriesofthesameorequivalenttypeasrecommended.
• Donotusedamagedbatteries.
• Insertbatterieswiththecorrectpolarity.
• Donotshort-circuitthebatteryterminals.
• Removeexhaustedbatteriesfromthetoy.
• Removebatteriesduringlongperiodsofnon-use.
• Donotdisposeofbatteriesinfire.
• Donotchargenon-rechargeablebatteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if
removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision.
Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries,
or on their respective packaging, indicates they must not be
disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances
that can be damaging to the environment and human health.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. On/Off/Volume Control Switch
To turn the unit ON, slide the On/
Off/Volume Control Switch to the
Low Volume ( ) or the High
Volume ( ) position. You will
hear a phrase and a song. To turn the
unit OFF, slide the On/Off/Volume
Control Switch to the OFF ( )
position.
2. Automatic Shut Off
To preserve battery life, the Push & Spin Helicopter will
automatically power down after approximately 45 seconds without
input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button.
NOTE: If the unit repeatedly powers down while playing, we recommend
changing the battery.
ACTIVITIES
1. Spinning Rotor Blades
Press the Rotor Blades to see the
helicopter move forward. You will
hear a variety of playful phrases,
helicopter sounds and music.
2. Number Button
Press the Number Button to learn
about numbers from one to three,
hear the button colour, hear the
animal be introduced and to hear
songs and short tunes.

3. Letter Button
Press the Letter Button to learn
letters from a to c, hear the button
colour, hear the animal be introduced
and to hear songs and short tunes.
4. Wheel Sensor
Push the helicopter to hear a variety
of playful phrases, helicopter sounds
and music. When a melody or song
is playing, push the helicopter to hear
sounds play over the music.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
sources.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended
period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit
to excess moisture.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow
these steps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the battery.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the battery.
4. Turn the unit back ON. The unit will now be ready to play with again.
