Q: When and how to clean your pump?
A: If your pump is producing any noise, disassemble it, and wash and spray
it with water to clean any dirt out of the rotor. If water output decreases,
please check if the barrier screen or filter screen is blocked or if the pipe
is bent.
Q: How can you safely disassemble the pump?
A: The pump must be powered off before disassembling. Only a slight force
is required when wiping stains off the surface. Do not shift or bend it out
of its original position.
Q: How can you reassemble the device after cleaning it?
A: First, set the rotor and toggle it to check if that it rotates normally. Then,
install the cover with the waterproof ring. Lastly, replace the outermost
mesh screen.
Q: To what height can the water be pumped?
A: Proper vertical height between the water source (e.g. the pond) and the
water destination (e.g. the fish tank) makes the pump work efficiently. It is
recommended that the water destination be located not more than 1-2m
higher than the water source.
