This manual is intended for installation and operation of the Ventoxx Harmony
ventilation unit. The instruction is made with use of the data actual as of
01.07.2021. The content of the instructions may be updated and supplemented.

Installation of the recuperator in the wall and its connection to the mains should
be performed only by qualified specialists who are familiar with safety and
qualified to work with mains connections. Be sure to read all of these instructions
before installing and connecting the device.

2. VENTILATION DEVICE
2.1. Purpose of the device
Ventoxx Harmony ventilation device is a decentralized ventilation system with
heat recovery (hereinafter - recuperator). Recuperators are installed in order to
ensure autonomous air exchange in the premises and at the same time retain
heat due to the effect of recovery.
The recuperator can be installed in any living space and in any public buildings
where people will be and where no special temperature and climatic conditions
are required.
The device is equipped with a ceramic heat accumulator, which accumulates the
heat of the used removed air, and then returns the same heat to the fresh air
coming from the street.
The recuperator is installed in the wall thickness. The air duct inside which the
device is located can be 0.5 or 0.75 m long as standard and cut according to the
wall thickness before installation.
2.2. Complete set
Ventoxx Harmony consists of the following components:

Be careful when unpacking and installing the recuperator - do not hit
or drop the device, which can damage the ceramic heat accumulator.

3. PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION

3.2. General provisions for choosing the location of the recuperator
• Height for mounting: for optimal distribution of air flows, recuperators should
be placed in the upper segment of the wall at a distance of at least 150 mm from
the ceiling.
• Distance between devices: recuperators must be placed at a distance of at least
2 m from each other.
• Distance from the door: the recuperator should be placed as far away from the
door as possible to achieve the maximum effect of ventilation.
• Free access to the appliance: to make it easier to maintain the recuperator,
make sure that the place chosen for installation allows the inner cover to be
removed without hindrance.
• Installation over beds: We do not recommend installing the appliance directly
above the bed, as residents may experience a slight movement of airflow.
3.3. Tools required for installation When
mounting the device you will need:
• construction level;
• universal knife;
• in the case of drilling holes - a perforator, a crown with a diamond coating;
• mounting foam;
• screwdriver "-" flat 3 mm;

• wire stripping tool (for cable installation).
For installation you will also need the following fasteners: anchors, dowels,
screws - which are selected according to your facade system, type of insulation,
design and wall material. Please note that the delivery set does not contain these
fasteners.
3.4. Safety at work
When installing the recuperator it is necessary to use protective equipment:
• goggles;
• work gloves;
• protection for the hearing organs;
• head protection;
• special work shoes.
4. INSTALLATION OF THE VENTOXX HARMONY DEVICE
4.1. Creating a hole in the wall
To install the device, you must first make a round hole in the wall of the required
diameter. In ready-made rooms, we recommend that you always make holes using
diamond drilling technology. Make sure that the tool bit is designed for drilling
holes with a diameter of 160-180 mm. The hole in the wall is made at an angle of
0.6 - 2% towards the street.
Before making a hole in the wall, make sure that:
• no one is in danger of being injured when drilling or falling parts of
the wall out of the hole;
• objects and structures will not be damaged due to falling pieces of
the wall during drilling;
• there are no wires or pipes at the drilling site;
• creating a hole will not affect the supporting function of the wall;
• the creation of the hole will not affect the physics of the building, in particular will
not provoke the accumulation of condensate or other moisture in the wall structure.
4.2. Step-by-step installation
Step 1:
After choosing a place for installation and making a mounting hole in the wall,
run a 220 V power cord to it.
