SAFETY NOTICES

When using any electrical appliance, especially when children are pres-

ent, basic safety precautions should always be observed including the

following:

•Read all instructions carefully before using the appliance.

•The appliance may only be operated on an electricity supply which

corresponds to the voltage and type of current specified on the

appliance (230 V, 50 Hz).

•Always unplug the appliance immediately after using.

•Do not use while bathing.

•Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a

tub or sink.

•Do not place in, or drop into water or other liquid.

•If an appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach

into the water.

•This appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.

•Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on,

or near children or invalids.

•Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this man-

ual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

•Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged Power Cord (6) or

plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped, dam-

aged, or immersed into water. Return the appliance to place of pur-

chase for examination or repair.

•Keep the Power Cord (6) away from heated surfaces. Do not pull,

twist or wrap tine Power Cord (6) around appliance.

•Never block the Air Openings (4) of the appliance or place it on a

soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the Air Openings (4)

may be blocked. Keep the Air Openings (4) free of hair, and the like.

•Never drop or insert any object into any Air Opening (4) or hose.

•Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are

being used or where oxygen is being administered.

•Do not use on extension cord to operate styler.

•Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat-sensitive areas.

•Attachments (3) may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before

handling.

•Do not place appliance on any surface while it is operating.

•While using the appliance, keep your hair out of it. Keep your hair

away from the Air Openings (4).

•Do not use with voltage converter.

APPLIANCE USE

As a general guide use the HIGH heat and speed settings for rough dry-

ing and for thicker, heavier hair.

Use the LOW heat and speed settings for finer hair and for more precise

control when styling.

•Fully unwind the Power Cord (6).

•Before plugging in the appliance, make sure the 3-Setting Switch

(2) is set to position «0».

•Wash and condition the hair, then towel dry the hair thoroughly. Do

not use the styler on hair, which is dripping with water.

•To fit any Attachment (3), simply press the Release Button (5) to

remove Attachment (3) and pull it away from the base. To reattach,

fit the Attachment (3) onto the Base (1) and snap it into place.

Before changing the Attachments (3), let the appliance to cool

down.

•Insert the plug into an earthed contact socket 230 V, 50 Hz.

•Adjust to the desired blowing strength with the 3-Setting Switch:

- «0» – OFF;

- «1» – Lower heat, gentle airflow;

- «2» – Higher heat, strong airflow.

•Start styling your hair at the back and work forwards.

•Always switch off and disconnect the appliance from the mains

after use.

USING THE ATTACHMENTS

USING THE 45 mm ROUND BRUSH

Separate your hair into sections. Wind one section of hair around the

Round Brush (3.1). Hold for a few seconds before releasing the curl.

Repeat, leaving each curl to cool, as you work on the next section. Also,

you may straighten your hair with the help of Round Brush (3.1) by con-

tinuous brushing of your hair.

USING THE BRUSH

Using the Brush (3.2) you style your hair as you wish. You can use the

Brush (3.2) to make volume at the roots (Use at position «1» only), to

straighten your hair by continuous brushing or to curl your hair at the

ends.

USING THE VOLUME FINGER

Operate on low heat setting only.

Use for gentle drying of curls from the hair root and to make volume of

your hair. It is recommended to use the Volume Finger (3.3) at position

«1» in order not to burn your head.

USING THE CONCENTRATOR

Operate on low heat setting only.

Allows you to direct heat for smooth styling.

After using the Attachments

The temperature of the appliance will be high in operation. Do not touch

the hot surface with your body. Allow the Attachments (3) to cool before

removal, to ensure safe handling and to avoid burns.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

•Switch the styler off, unplug it from the supply socket and allow it to

cool down before attempting any cleaning.

•The Base (1) may be cleaned by wiping over with a soft slightly

damp cloth. Dry thoroughly with a soft towel. Do not immerse the

styler in water or get any water near the Air Openings (4).

•The Attachments (3) may be washed in warm water. Make sure that

they are completely dry before putting back on the styler.

•Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaner.

•Always ensure that the Air Openings (4) are free from fluff and dust

etc. Clean the filter mesh frequently.
