
Ensure the electric blanket is disconnected from the power socket and controller before
cleaning.
Hand washing (recommended)
To prolong the life of the electric blanket, it is recommended to perform hand washing as
opposed to machine washing when cleaning the electric blanket.
•Place the electric blanket in a large vessel (for example, a bathtub, large laundry sink)
with cold water mixed with either a natural wool detergent or mild soap flakes.
•Soak the electric blanket for approximately 5 minutes and then gently squeeze the
soapy water through the blanket.
•Rinse the electric blanket thoroughly with clean lukewarm water until no more suds
are visible. Allow water to drain off.

Machine washing
•Place the electric blanket in a washing bag and seal it.
•Use a small amount of detergent and set the washing machine to a ‘Delicate Wash’
setting with a temperature not exceeding 40°C. When washed, remove the blanket
from the washing bag.

Drying
Drape the electric blanket over a clothesline or any other well-ventilated location and allow
it to dry naturally.
CLEANING & CARE
•Do not dry the blanket under the sun.
•Do not use any appliances to dry the electric blanket (for example, tumble dryer,
hair dryer).
•Do not wring or iron the electric blanket.
•Do not connect the controller cable into the electric blanket when drying.
•The electric blanket must be completely dry before storing or next use.
