3. Safety instructions
3.1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATING THE PRODUCT
• TVH Parts NVcannot envisage each possible circumstance that may result in danger.
Therefore,the warnings given in this publication and those on the equipment are
not exhaustive. In the event that equipment, procedures,work methods orworking
techniques are used that are not specifically advised bythe TVH Parts NVcompany,
it is necessary to make sure that there is no danger to the operatoror other people.
• Study, understand and follow all instructions before operating this equipment.
• Do not exceed the rated capacity, be aware of dynamic loading.
• Use onlyon hard,level surfaces.
• Centre the load.
• Ensure that the support blocks are in correct position in relation to the vehicle.
This means that the support blocks should be placed as wide apart as possible to
maximise their load capacity.
• In the event ofunsafe use,limbs or persons can get stuckbetween the vehicle and
the support blocks.
• No alterations shall be made to this product.
• Use wheel chocks orother blocking devices on opposingwheels before using the
support blocks.
• Do not move thevehicle while it’s on support blocks.
• The user and/or other persons who come into contactwith the support blocks or the
vehicle mustwear safetygloves and safety shoes at all times.
• Others who are not working on the vehicle must keep a minimum distance of0.5 m
from the vehicle.
Inspect before everyuse. Examine the support blocks forcracks ordamage before
each use.Do not use if even a minor crack, bend or other damage/deformation is found.
Discard the support blocks if damaged ordeformed.
The person responsible for the use of the product must make sure that all of the safety
rules in force in the country of its use are applied,to guarantee that the equipment is
used in conformitywith the use forwhich it is destined and to avoid anydangerous
situation forthe user.
Do not operate the product unlessyou are of age.
